Will launch with okada or barrow ? Are you crazy? No Nigerian airline will go to Ebonyi because it is a useless worthless venture. Ebonyi amusement park airport will never work because no airline will ever agree to go there. Flight ticket is almost 200k, it is only your governor and his commissioners can afford it, almost everyone in ebonyi cannot afford it because ebonyi is the poverty capital of Nigeria. Ebubu: |

APC scam of the century Tinibu is building Lagos- calabar costal road with 15 Trillion Naira when hunger is killing 90% of the citizens. The same Tinibu is tackling hunger with 2 billion for 250 million people. The coastal road is awarded to his friend HiTech. Ebonyi spending #52 billion on airport... No be juju be that? |

Is it the same runway that Igbos claimed was done with concrete technology and would last a hundred and fifty years ![]() You guys claimed that there was no need to asphalt the tarmac and that it was the best in the country cos it was made of cement, lol. And this substandard color-riot trash was built by anbEngr, whom you clueless guys said was the best, lol. Morbeta11: |

Mindlog:I don't like Umahi as a person because of his style of politics but who told you people Umahi did not build vocational centers? He did. Oga make una forget, you all are not saying this because you love Ebonyi state but out of hatred. Airport is a necessity in a land whether viable or not, it be very useful soon. From Enugu to Onueke is up to two hours, from Awka to Asaba is less than an hour, why not criticize either of the Airports in Awka or Asaba. Airport is source of employment, source revenue, Attraction to investors etc, so it is not completely useless as you think. Not a waste of money either. If it is not built now, it may never be built forever. I and well meaning Nigerians commend the two Governors for that wonderful infrastructure they put in place there. It is commendable, commend it, not hating |

Ebubu:Ambitious or wasteful? There's a mark difference between the two. In this age, someone built an airport with a defective runway. And didn't know that the runway was defective, even at the design stage. Kai! Na who do us this thing? |

EBONYI STATE don't need Airport now. It's just a means to siphon public fund by the APC led governors. Stop looting billions on non viable white elephant project. Well meaning EBONYI indigenes, Igbo leaders should petition the immediate past and the present governor against this mass looting. Mark my word, this airport can never be viable because the state is the poorest in Nigeria. They don't have what it's takes to have this kind of project where people are hungry. |

without me saying it out here, ebonyi airport should focus on central and south African countries, with a possibility of other countries. Igbos need to stop thinking the world opportunity ends in Nigeria. I am not talking japa, I am talking business or allies. The igbos can also work around the genocide tribes in Nigeria, and do business with Togo and other sensible people there, we understand there is a different religion people over there. But distance business. All these are down the line thinking, maybe if igbos employ all their wisdom, the uncertain and liberation dragging time may be 5 to 10 years max. Igbos don't need to build non multipurpose things now. Do you think leeches and genocide tribes will just loose contr like that, many of them are covered by greed, so the igbos need to factor all that in, and not go and build lavishly without long term vision. Don't worry about them building now and faking economics progress; the igbos should intensify their liberation struggle in all wise manners, so that if there is confrontation beyond repair, their own sides will be destroyed too. So it will be everyone start afresh after an all out situation. Then the igbos will have to progress in strength and wealth, or else those leeches will always want to keep grip. Simon Ekpa need to stay away from internal perceived enemies, just don't pay them any mind. Focus on the genocide seekers and foreign recognition. Talk good about everyone that is internal. Including ohaneze. Even tell ohaneze, that you will borrow their name to make it igbo lawmakers chamber name. Focus with limited movements, the work ahead is steep, but with dedication, discipline, and thoughtful vision, there would be success; And the igbos and other liberated tribes, will reward you, and all people of the nations. I go too deep for some people like this, even though i no too talk. |

Imagine how many factories that the amount can build in that state employing thousands of people and impacting the state economy. One of the worst things to happen to Nigeria generally is that they have leaders who are so foollish and can't reason properly because they are involved in all manner of dark and dirty practices. Enugu airport to Abakaliki airport is less than one hour. Abakaliki airport is rarely used, yet it got over 50 Billion for a poor and agrarian state like Ebonyi. |
