Them just dey play us season film. Yahaya Bellos aids or lawyer would have told him to walk into the EFCC office in the morning unannounced cause they know EFCC was have to go through due process before arresting him, more reason they told him to leave that morning.
Now that EFCC has gotten the directives they went back and did there job by wanting to arrest him on the committed offense.
For me Alh. Yahaya Bello was smart on this. And they new they will come back so dey fit get mouth.

They want to arrest him like a common criminal.
He was trying make them look stupid by walking into their office yesterday after hiding in government house in Kogi for months.

He was declared wanted for months. No serious search was conducted for him. He boldly strolled into your office today. You served him coffee which he declined and you then told him to go.

Less than an hour later, you release a statement saying that the man is still wanted. Now in the middle of the night, it is claimed that EFCC surrounded his house in Asokoro trying to arrest him.

If i didn't know better, I'll say this is a movie script.

But why has the EFCC chosen to become such an embarrassment?

You don't understand how things works in this situation. Those officials are not learning on their job, time would tell and you would be better informed.
