That's why when i looked at Edo people i nearly cry. Is it that they choose to be stupid or totally brainwashed by this useless politicians
Look at the crowd at their many rallies... Na suffering Nigerians full am o. Many in those crowds have children, family members, and even friends they should be fighting to ensure a better future for, but none of that seems to matter to them once these politicians appear in front of them. They can't wait to hand over their mandate to the clown to pay them anything. Nigerians are a bunch of evil folks abeg! undecided

All of these politicians who have occupied political seats in one capacity or the other over the last 25 years are proven corrupt and/or inept individuals. So I don't see why people would be clamoring to vote any of them back in to begin with. undecided

More like the reward of bad citizenry! Citizens cannot sit with arms folded electing criminals into office each election cycle yet expect things to magically turn out well. Never in the history of the world has it ever worked out that way. undecided

What we have in Nigeria are clear examples of bad/terrible citizens who don't really care for the collective welfare of the country and its people. They may say they do with their tongues but action, they say, speaks louder than words! undecided
100%. Nigerians are the worst citizens on earth. Corrupt and selfish. Thats why all this lawless impunity can thrive.

They complain a whole lot... have even turned social media into their complaint/gossip parlors but do nothing afterward to change the situation. It is pathetic. Then when the next election cycle rolls over, they now either vote into power
►the thief they imagine in themselves is better than the other thief
► or a criminal that is less of a criminal than the other thief,
► or the thief that everyone around them has declared is now suddenly a better man,
►or, my favorite, the criminal that is from their ethnic group because, in their minds, the criminal from the other ethnic group is somehow worse. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

To top that all up, we have the Nigerians who believe elections are fraudulent and so a reason why they ought not to vote at all. Yet these same people go on to raise families, make friends, and even try to set up a life for themselves in that same country where they refuse to cast their vote in and then wonder why their lives remain fked even at that. 🙄

From PZ to Samaru for that amount was expensive, considering the fact Kd was just N5
You really know that Zaria. I think it was that range.
Money had value then. Only children from rich home could boast of 5K for a whole semester including tfare back home at the end of semester exams.
We were told that things were too expensive then compared to our predecessors of 70s and 80s who ate free meals at school cafeterias, got free Volkswagen cars, 3 BR flats and automatic Job at graduation.

Today we can only just dream and dream of all these

■ Ma Kobo you won't understand, I mentioned him to possibly select me for a gift he was to be picked for, he said he wants to give it out that's why I tagged him here, you can check his posts to get a clearer picture, I also went to protest grounds two times in Lagos but unfortunately this government doesn't care.
You went to protest 2 times and so because the government does not care means you should not protest again or look for other means to get rid of the government. These people deprive you, your family, friends, and communities, and your birthright as Nigerians, yet all you can do is say you stopped protesting after realizing the government does not care. Sigh! undecided

Since you have confirmed that they do not care for you, the next best thing to do is to begin to call for their impeachment, and to do that you need to rally others around you to begin voting and protesting for that to take place now. Begging others who may also be in dire straits is not a solution. undecided

Ma Kobo to god who made me I was part of those who warned about this government and I was mocked sometimes, now they've entered and all are facing the music both those who voted them and the others who didn't, I try my best to complain eg going to the protest ground to lend my voice against their disaster, what can I as a lay man do except complaining on social media or going to protest grounds if even journalists and others are picked up anyhow in this so called democracy we're in? If I am killed would that even change a thing as most of us in this country are adjusted to seeing a new government bad policy and adjusting to it? When they are still a lot of people defending this government despite the evil they've done, ma I can only do my best and leave the rest for God because come 2027 no matter how we talk there are still those who will still vote those guys just to score some cheap points.
I only asked him to choose me for a gift he was nominated for but didn't want that's why I tagged him here ma.

1. In my previous post, I included details on what a layman can do according to your Nigerian Constitution. In a democracy, verbal complaints don't really accomplish much. It is only when petitions or lawsuits are filed, votes are cast to retract a mandate or to select a new official or policy that anything is accomplished. undecided

2. So, your life is too precious to be lost to fixing the problem, is what you are saying? Living in suffrage is better than dying for a purpose known to you. Well, continue begging then. When people who keep sending money to Nigerians begging online get tired of it all, maybe then you will realize how life is not worth living in suffering. undecided

3. Leave the rest to the same god of Nigeria that will ensure that come 2027, the suffering of Nigerians will be raised so many degrees higher by crook or by hook. Continue manufacturing excuses for why you shouldn't be expected to do something drastic now to change things. Keep playing into the hands of the very same people making your lives miserable by the moment. grin

Honestly things have changed. I was born and brought up in Kd but attended ABU from early to mid 2000s. May God help us

Being a Kenyan have opened my eyes to a lot of thing most importantly is the redemption that Africa continent seeks for will not come from Nigeria, other African countries should stand up and set their house in order while let the so called giant keep sleeping, what she need is more the lullabies.
