Realities have changed with time, countries have to be smarter at this point, a smart nation would avoid proxy war like what Ukraine is going through, sometimes you weigh the gains and loss of decisions you want to take, wouldn't it have been better Ukraine never started the war even if they agreed to negotiate with Putin and compromise on some demands?
