I don't know if those people on the first page are just gaslighting or they are serious. Is it reading or comprehension problems, the article clearly stated that TAXATION is one of the major determinants of prices.

Taxes in some countries is as high as 50% of the cost and some people are trying to deflect this by spewing trash.

The government is just taxing us to death plain simple.

Stop subsidy,try to reduce our debt to gdp ratio so that the naira can be strengthened.......focus on food security by making food more Available.

Invest in mass housing

Make power supply more efficient

Make social services like health care and education cheap and affordable so households can have more disposable income they hitherto would have spent on these.

I have been looking for comment like this since I posted the news.

Only you understands the news. Simply put FG tax each liters of the petrol. Probably the reason why dangote was saying he paid 100 million dollars to lagos state government for the land is because Lagos state government two is involve. So both FG and Lagos state government imposed tax on each liters of the petrol. This underscores the reason why dangote insisted that NNPCL should be the sole distributor because he is afraid of telling Nigerians the Price so as not to cause violence.
