Go to the passport office for capturing with all the necessary documents, they will direct you to servicom office where your documents will be checked for correctness. Is because they are not sure of the documents you submitted online and want to check them physically (especially that local government of origin) before approval. Once servicom minutes and signs on it, you take it for capturing where your status will be updated. I am having same issue and this is what i was told in festac passport office. 3 of people have successfully captured in my house after registering online by themselves.

So sorry, when I called they asked me to visit the SERVICOM unit of the immigration center and lodge my complaints

Go to servicom office in the passport centre you choose if your application is DIY. If you go straight to capturing office, they will bounce you back. Once they see servicom signature and minutes at the capturing office, they will capture you and update your status. Just make sure your documents are correct.
That's what I was told at festac passport office.

Yeah, including the LGA and birth certificate to avoid stories. I plan to go before my capturing date and see if I can resolve it

I was at the immigration office today and it has been resolved. I received the approval mail in less than an hour.

Please House, I was been given Summary Slip instead of Confirmation Slip after My capturing for my Lost Passport yesterday @ Sagamu Passport Office. Hope I am safe cos my mind keep telling me that my application wasn't been submitted.

Thank you all for your support! I visited the NIS office today and received excellent service. My documents (payment slips, application slip, and appointment slip, both photocopies and originals) were collected, and I was instructed to return home, assured that I would receive an approval email and come back tomorrow for capturing.

To my greatest surprise, while still on my way home and sitting on the bus, I received the NOTIFICATION FOR THE APPROVAL EMAIL! I'm overjoyed as my approval status has changed to VETTED.

Capturing, here I come!

Apologies for responding late, if you can print out your previous appointment, no issues. If you try booking another appointment self, it will tell you that you have already booked before and request you to print it out. Shalom

Yeah, I finally picked up my Passport after 6 months of capturing. Though my Joy is that is didn't go to Abuja and settle anyone for my corrections of data/name rearrangement to be corrected.

I did my myself and I captured at Ikoyi Passport Office though it took me more than six months before I collected my passport because I didn't give any of the passports official money.

Do you think it will be faster if i pay any of the official? I need the passport in a month because i want to correct data too

Yes you can talk to the person first before starting the process. Though I heard now that they have given Lagos passport office to be effecting correction on passport data page unlike before when they will have to contact their HQ in Abuja.

Wait a bit more for the approval mail to be received by you. Technical glitch is one of the reasons why approval mail takes time...
