The President have the constitutional power to appoint his next IGP from the ranks of the CP.
If that happens, the likes of DIG Frank and all AIG will have to go on compulsory retirement.
Same as the Army.
When General Christopher and Lagbaja was appointed, all the other General's that were ahead of them were forced to retire.
That was why on June 2023, when the likes and course mate's of General Leo Irabor and Burutai was leaving office, President Tinubu have to retire 100 General's to make way for Lagbaja and Christopher.

Okpara was first deployed to FCT Abuja to take over from Cp Igwe.
When the sudden shake up and redeployment to send Disu to FCT Abuja came up, I knew it had an undertone.
Tinubu must have learnt from the mistakes of Goodluck Jonathan, Tinubu will never work with a non Yoruba man as IGP and COAS.
There is no sentiment about that.
Jonathan was seriously betrayed by his IGP, that Buhari later compensated the IGP, after he took over government.
