Due to hardship in the land, I intensified planting plantains and banana in my compound. I have some returns this year to the glory of God.

Three things I will plant when I finally build my house...

1. Plantain
2. Banana
3. Coconut tree.

And probably a garden where there'll be sugarcane.

Add pawpaw. They fruit very quickly.

Why sugarcane though?
Any particular reason?

Keep it up. Those who have the land should help themselves by having a small farm/garden. Tinubu, Atiku and Obi are all the same. Nigerian political elites don't give a damn about the ordinary people.

Tinubu:
What do you expect from someone whose identity is shrouded in mystery?

Atiku:
This one that hides in Dubai.

Peter Obi:
I heard one man from the East say Igbos are not complaining about hardship. Lol. If you believe this you will believe that Obi would not have removed subsidy and devalued the Naira. Somebody who doesn't have a single factory but wants to turn Nigeria into a net producer. Somebody whose businesses are more of selling imported consumer goods.

The solution to Nigeria's problems is self determination. Any other thing is chasing shadows.

Do you mean that snail and plantain farming complement each other?

I want to go into snail farming by starting small and then scale. Within a year, I would have mastered it.

If you want it to do better, remove the offsets so it can use the nutrients going down there to nourish the good ones, thank me later, grow up in the village but now live in Canada by the grace of God

Nice one..keep it up.. sale some and use the money to buy other house stuffs. Don’t listen to that guy that said you shouldn’t sale any
Re: My Little Plantain And Banana Farming by netmillionaires(m):
Could it be as a result of the rain? This is because I observed that anytime I water it when it is fruiting, it would burst within a few days. Plantain and banana don't need watering. I watered it during the dry season twice and this happened both times. It has been raining for some days now and when I checked, it had started to split.

If everyone can fall back to Agriculture without making flimsy excuses, we wouldn't have been on the street with that hunger protest.

Watch these Chinese videos on YouTube and see how they are farming inside nylon even at home.

Lets be sincere for once, how many of us are into farming? Even if na small farming for house? But all of us dey chop abii?

We Keep blaming government without even lifting a finger to contributing our own quota no matter how small it it will be

Meanwhile, Agriculture as a subject should be made mandatory in all levels of school, so long you are human being, who's alive, you eat food, I don't see no reason why it should be an optional subject
