HurricaneLanter:I didn't support the Iraq war so you can direct this to those who did. Once again though, Saddam sent assassins to kill George Bush Senior on a trip to Kuwait, and his son George Bush Junior came in to end the family feud between the Husseins and Bushes. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae:If you are going to debate with those whose ideology oppose yours completely on issues being debated and there's palpable antagonism, lay your points with concrete facts. Not for or against North Korea, but these are the facts North Korea has a population of 27 million, and Nigeria 220 million. It produces more than 8 times per capita electricity for its citizens than Nigeria currently does. And given its population, North Korea produces more electricity than Tunisia and many countries. If you factor per capita, it is rated than some countries we rate highly. 1. https://www.worlddata.info/asia/north-korea/energy-consumption.php 2. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_electricity_production If Nigeria has made the crazy ICT advancements we've done in spite of poor power supply, imagine what North Korea has done with better per capita power supply. Facts outrank emotional arguments and assertions because facts are facts That's how to debate and state your points. It's a dictatorship and it is a powerful force. Two truths can exist without negating each other. |

Ibime:Why did SA try to bring Qatar to heel in 2017, if they're always in cahoots with SA? All MENA strong men have been at each other's throat since the Ottoman Empire fell. The Alawi Dynasty have no friends in the region partly for that reason. Whoever you're dining with will plunge a knife in you the second you suffer a loss of concentration. The bottom line is that the Gulf have a strong dislike for any powerful political figure outside the monarchies. They were threatened by Qadaffi. They schemed and made a play against him. And he did a back-to-sender. If you're saying he lost the geopolitical game like Saddam. Sure. But to say he had it coming and paint the Saudis as victims. That's going way too far. Qadaffi was always going to die of natural causes in office, in an assassination, or in a coup. Destabilizing the Sahel is the equivalent of using a nuke to resolve a sectarian conflict. -Lord |

If we go by zoning argument used against Olumide, was Otti supposed to be governor? Okezie Ikpeazu who is from Abia south did only 4yrs but the people didn't care and took it back to Abia Central who had done 8yrs just before Okezie Ikpeazu. |

DissTroy:Maybe you should start by listing the economic sanctions imposed on Nigeria. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ballzproblem2: 12:29pm On Sep 23, 2024 |
Israel called Lebanese to evacuate southern part of Lebanon, ahead of full scale invasion. A Israel population is just 6 million, yet they sending Arabs packing like rats. Fear Israel,God hand they on them. |

https://dailypost.ng/2024/09/23/fresh-electricity-tariff-hike-looms-as-nigerias-monthly-power-subsidy-hits-n181-63bn/ Imagine IF North Korea is not under sanctions. Shey we're now dealing with "IFs & not FACT |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 12:36pm On Sep 23, 2024 |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:I am agreeing with you. North Korea produces more electricity per capita than most countries, including Nigeria, Tunisia, and many Asian and Carribean countries. In spite of the sanctions. The data rubbishes the claim that it's some 17-Century-esque place with only its capital having access to electricity. This much is published in many Western media outlets. The point is, instead of engaging in whataboutism and positing your assertions, fall back on good ol' statistics from credible sources. Facts don't lie. It'd get the person you are arguing against to softpedal certain assertions and not try to lay them as facts. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae:Good. Now what's your justification for championing Russian and Communist propaganda, and pro-terror groups like Hamas and Hezbollah? I'm not attacking you. I'm just curious. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ballzproblem2: 12:52pm On Sep 23, 2024 |
Lebanon conflict is definitely not going as planned by Hezbollah, the thought when the conflict escalate they'll be launching rockets and missiles easily into Israel, unfortunately Israel is taking out most of their launchers before they have the chance to fire rockets,is not to late to prevent Lebanon from turning into Gaza. Hezbollah doesn't have any hostage like gaza , Israel go level some parts. |

LordAdam16:The Qatari issue is brothers spat between House of Saud Saudi, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar and Jordan are all aligned. House of Saud inherited monarchy in all those countries plus Iraq and Syria but they got deposed in Iraq by strong men and by the French in Syria. Na normal tinz But last last, Gaddafi tried to kill them, and they killed him. The game is the game |

Ibime:My entry into the topic was pointing out the cynical foreign policy of Qatar and UAE. I wonder which Gulf monarch the Sudanese tried to kill to compel the UAE to fuel strive in the current conflict. They did it to Saddam (which was fair), Qadaffi, Mubarak, tried to do it to Assad. Do you notice the pattern? The Arab spring came to Bahrain. They sent tanks to support the government. In Libya, they demanded a no-fly zone. They could have killed Qadaffi without destabilizing the Sahel. Destabilizing the Sahel as they have done in Syria and Sudan was a favored outcome. -Lord |

DissTroy:Lol... Many many reasons.. Maybe NATO Eastward expansion even against the understanding and agreement reached after the dissolution of USSR. There's no way the US will allow Mexico to host Russian short range missiles like the Iskander-M missiles not to talk about nukes. The Breakdown of the MINSK agreement. Where NATO used almost a decade to arm Ukraine. The same reason why Nelson Mandela supported Hamas/Palestine is the same reason I'm supporting an Independent state of Palestine. PS: Over 140 countries of the world have recognized Palestine statehood. Even some EU/NATO countries have established diplomatic relations with Palestine. |
