The few times I tried to renegotiate, riders ask me why did I pick the trip if the price is not okay. I was speechless huh
Omoapena:
I don't want to believe they are picking them up and driving to the rider to renegotiate, and if they are renegotiating on the app, I don't think that will work either.

I can't even stress myself to accept only to start renegotiating, I see those indrive riders as broke people looking for cheap fare.
Una never sabi d art of renegotiating... If u are interested to learn then go to MM2 car park and spend 2hrs with those Ehailing guys at the carpark first floor.
Omo those guys are crooks, they no get shame, them be kura, they can whyne rider and they are bold and confident. They can pick a trip of 10k and convert it to 20k. Boya dey don dey do ehailing plus I just don't know how they do it. Renegotiation mostly works for very long distance trips like Sangoredo, Ibeju or places other people don't like going like Ota, Ayobo, Satellite town, Mowe, Ibafo, Sagamu etc

Even on bonus, you'll still see the actual fare as a rider.

He will see the 7k and see the discount
Most riders are blind to that o.
Some of them will still be telling u, "Aghaa! Bolt said I have discount, how come the money is plenty like this?" Most times I don't respond, but if I feel like talking I tell them to message Bolt. Werey people
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910:
Omoapena:
On your end, you can't see the bonus amount, I'm referring to riders. Maybe if a rider orders now, and the actual fare is 10k and maybe they give rider 1500 discount, you will see 10k on your end but rider will see 8500, you can only tell rider to add whatever to the 8500 at the end of the trip, it still pays you cox if you're to do it online, you will still loose 1k from that 8500 to commission so, I will rather have the whole 8500 to Myself.

This screenshot was from where to where?
All these 1k extra where e don carry u reach?
If Bolt didn't connect you to the Rider will u get the opportunity to be renegotiating offline?
We dey shout govt is bad, leaders are corrupt but we the people aren't any better.
Stop this thing, na because of people like u Indrive wan dey monitor our movement even when we are sleeping. Make rider report u to Bolt that u are requesting for offline, and Bolt will block u forever, that time u will be among the people accepting 3k from Yaba to lekki because u don't have any other option. Most of the drivers accepting rubbish trips on Indrive are Drivers that have been blocked by Uber and Bolt. Not that they are happy to take those trips but because they don't have any other option and man must survive.
So I am advising you now if u know the work no pay u, leave am go find another thing do, stop bastardizing the system and crippling the app companies by stealing from their gains.

I know you've made up your mind not to send the money to me.
I don't understand why you would exclude me when the donor already mentioned me huh.

Anyways, I wanted to share the money between two drivers here since I don't need the money.

I don't like offline for anything, I see riders/Nigerians as people always ready to take advantage of the next person.

I will respondto this soon as fuel hit 1700
Just be on alert
pope191:
PMs can’t hit 1700, unless dollar goes beyond 1600. Max is 1300 and if the government is ready to be responsible, they won’t increase it above 855. If Dangote fuel is enough to serve Nigeria, all they have to do is subsidize him and make sure subsidized products are not taken away from Nigeria.

This doesn't make any sense to me. Someone was nominated for giveaway. He's an active member here, then you sit somewhere and determine he's not a driver hence he's not qualified to earn from it. Why was there a nomination list in the first place?

It doesn't make any sense. Same people will complain about the government everytime. I believe in fairness. Personal differences shouldn't erode emotions in discharging equity duties.

I collect the discounted price but can't be explaining to Rider that the fare has been discounted already since they want to claim ignorance

Subsidy was removed, but not absolutely. If they didn’t subsidize to some extend, we would have been buying fuel for almost 1450. The issue here is devaluation of naira. Assuming a dollar is like 100 naira today, fuel won’t exceed 85 naira. As long as we’ve not find a solution to our economy crisis and lifestyles, our money will keep being useless. In our very own eyes Benin and Ghana money over took ours… I’m trying no to be negative about the country, but one the honesty note, but the leaders and the people they are leading are part of the problems. Edo election says it all… malice will always win.

Apologies Bro, the money is fuel support for active drivers on the thread. I have selected three other drivers that weren't on the list. It's okay like that.

I still maintain my stand, regardless of how irresponsible this government has and will always be. Yes! Dangote may have air out like that, but the question is what is the reason why we can’t maintain subsidy? What is the government presently subsidizing for the people? Which country is not subsidizing one thing or the other for her citizens?

We can’t subsidize pms because some crooks and dubious people claims to bring products they don’t or refineries that doesn’t exist. Still black man keeling the next man and we always throw holy hands every Sunday’s and fast to carry mat along on Friday’s to pray. Yet! Nah our ways mad pass, no shame, tribalism don eat us reach bone. Now that we have Dangote refinery (crazy how he buys crude in naira and sells finished products to us in dollars 😂 the more you look I guess), there’s nothing wrong in the government liaising with him to come honest with the amount of products coming out of his refinery. In Dubai they have a tracker that indicates the amount of products and a drop can not be diverted without the authorities not knowing. Now, wit him we should be able to have totality of what we are using and how to go about subsiding it. Dangote telling government what to do in other to sell his products, while he was looking for a subsidized crude oil, is that not a bastard and a greedy man movement. The other day things was about to slip from him, the two friends were everywhere tweeting online and won’t let us rest, now they got what they want and they can advice the government. Typical of a black man, take the monkey of your as* and place it on whose ever, who cares?

This administration does not want to root deep into borrow money and wants to leave a legacy of paying back some debts. So, they turn to citizens and squeeze the h*ll out of their blood. When they tell an average Nigerian the government is about to borrow xy, you’ll hear stuffs like what’s my business? Nah the business we dey now. Nigerians are paying for every misdeed by the past leaders. It is just sucks that the past leaders are still the present ones realigning, while the mumu youths pick sides. Someone in his 30s and name can’t be tagged to anything tangible, we come online to back government for promising them laptop. Is that not a life time achievement of st*pidity? Blindly supporting same people that ruined the lives of the youths. Edo governor elect used to be a PDP member, now APC. Why should me that doesn’t have any card concern myself with if he’s PDP or APC? We have st*pid people in this country that can’t be redeemed.

Why I say pms should not get to 1700… in economics and physics, there’s elasticity. 70k minimum wage is already useless with the current situation (the better part of me feel NLC president is part of this administration). We can all see it, no such thing as do you know who I am again. Yes! Projection shows people will adjust with time, but not at a point where expenditure completely overshadows income with large percentage. No human on earth can adjust to such.
