Hi,

Please I want to submit a bank statement for proof of funds as a student going for masters in the US.
So I want to ask if it’s good to use my personal account or the account of my brother who is literally my sponsor and is it ok to use a naira account or a domiciliary account?

1. How did you prove proof of funds (POF) , before your Form- 120 was issued ? Or do you have full fundings ?
If none of these has happened ,then i don't think you have any Admission. Perhaps just an acceptance notice.

I was admitted though the school has sent me several messages to request for my i20 form but when I followed the link to request I was asked for POF and all.. but I haven’t submitted because I don’t know how much Pof is needed or if it’s only mine or my sponsors.. I just need to know how to take it up from there.. thanks

I filled Abuja in my DS-160, and even on the AVITS application but on the appointment calendar it is showing me only Lagos.

I suggest carefully reading the emails that the school previously sent to you. The International Student Office of your school is unlikely to ask you for proof of funds without letting you know how much they want you to provide.

If you still do not know how much the school expects from you after looking through prior emails from them, try emailing them and asking them to clarify the amount. You can use your account or that of your sponsor. It doesn't really matter as long as the person whose account you are using can attest that they are financially responsible for you while you are attending the school.

You can use your account or your brother's. It can also be a naira account or a domiciliary account as long as the amount in the account covers or exceeds the cost of attendance.

Michigan tech don't give fundings. They only give tuition support ($2000).

Hello guys. Please I have some pressing questions

I graduated with a 2.2 in Human Physiology and I have everything set now to apply for a master's degree course in Public Health in the USA. I'm kinda confused at to what and where I should start.

Will I be able to get admitted with my cgpa?
Will a get a scholarship or at least some funding?
Which schools are the best to accommodate my result?

I paid on the 3rd of September but there was an issue at the bank. I realized that it was resolved yesterday so it took me to appointment booking but only Lagos populated the drop down menu.
There's October 2ND, and Lagos seems to have dates every month.

It’s really obvious Lagos decided to keep us in the darkness as regards this.

I really think the best way out might just be to process another application, they seem not to care

1. The cost of study , accomodation, etc must have followed your acceptance e-mail, except if you are not the one handling the application yourself. There is also, your assigned admission officer/counselor, who usually communicates the school's mind to you (you can ask him or her), and lastly, don't you have an admission portal ? Your portal also explains your admission progress, and the next steps.

2. You cannot upload or send your financial statement to your host - institution, except if you want your Form- I 20 to indicate you as the funder (self-sponsor). Ask your funder (sponsor) to prepare the equivalent (in Naira) of your 1 - year tuition in bank statement, for you to forward to your host-school.

3. They will verify and calculate your bank statement , and if satisfied, email or courier your I -20 to you.

1. I am not here to campaign against Pay4me , but i will go against advertisement gimmick or lies in order to lure applicants into forceful or unwilling patronage.

2. Show the general public the screenshot evidence of the notification of discount pay4me is running ? If pay4me is running discount on $350 SEVIS fee, how is the organisation going to make profit, or who or what organisation is subsidizing the remaining shortages for pay4me?

3. Pay4me is a recognised upcoming app, but i do not want to talk about applicants experiences here. However, i want to state that, the number - 1 top avenue to pay SEVIS fee without a single blemish is via Western Union (Quick Pay), especially, payment from any WU outlets inside the United States (the best), Canada, UK or any other country with WU QuickPay facility.

Please explain what you mean when you say there was an issue at the bank. And how do you mean it was resolved yesterday?
Since you said you are only see that of Lagos does this indicate you applied for Abuja?

Please I need an advice on this to make my decision. I have BSc Biochemistry (3.65/5) and MSc Pharmaceutical Chem (3.30/5), with two publications. Do I stand a chance to get a Research MSc or PhD in US schools with Funding. I am thinking of booking gre exam and write next month to support my chances or is my profile good enough. 1. Click on your ticket and see if it has been resolved by reading the content. Otherwise raise another ticket by attaching your payment evidence , as well as 1st page of your I-20 (merge together as PDF). Yours might not be up to 3 -weeks.
