In 2024 it is worth $2million, so Chief return the Naira equivalent with interest . If the allegations are true ... the reason people keep stealing money is because Naira is never stable. |

This case will not see the light of the day. Take it or leave it. There is no penalty for stealing government money that's why. Bring down South Korea way of punishment by death, all this will stop. But nah, the head is already corrupt, so all part of the body will follow including the so called EFCC. |

Nigeria, the moment you start viewing for office, your corruption wakes up and start chasing you. Since he wanted to become national chairman of his party, they have dug up his corruption charge that they refused to prosecute him for |

Validated:So what you are saying is that if a government decides to do an audit of like agency like NNPCL 10 years later and discovers financial fraud, there's nothing that can be done to the culprits or what? |

I prefer plea bargaining to this unending trial of public officers. Let them return 65% of whatever they stole from the government Account and use the fund to equip public hospitals and other decayed infrastructures. This country tire me. The magnitude of corruption is too much. Currently, many of the current governors are also siphoning public funds because we have weak institutions that cannot prosecute effectively. |

I think there are missing pieces here. The EFCC should tug on the thread a little bit more. Who provided the USD equivalent in cash? was it a person? Bank? BDC? How did over 400m get deposited into an account and ICPC wasn’t notified? The account wasn’t frozen? Zenith bank is culpable and complacent. We say politicians steal but CBN and commercial banks are the hands they use. Having that kind of sum in cash is a recipe for terrorism and it shouldn’t be ignored. |

If deziani can be sipping latte in the UK ... Bross leave matters. If you make a living from the Nigerian government system you are nothing but a beer bottle opener no matter what you have. You all know you mostly got their through padipadism That is why they can imprison a man-ish for rough handling naira notes but will never dare to imprison those accused of accepting bribes from him. If it were to be in china , it's a bullet to the skull if found guilty. And I fear for the future because it's yahoo boys today that will be the leaders tomorrow since money is all the black mind counts as value . |
