Few days ago, some people posted on this platform that the governor elect have masters degree and many of you believed it.

But bad grammar shows poor knowledge of the basics. Ordinary "s" omission or addition can mean a totally different thing. A doctor should know that.

Leadership transcends grammatical fluency.

Honestly, a good leader just needs to have the welfare of his people at heart, and will place that priority over everything else.

Truth be told... You don't need erudition for that.

Give me a grammatically blundering leader who distances himself from corruption and wastage while delivering good governance over another speaking impeccable Queen's English while stealing and dragging the state backwards.


Sadly, even I know this might never be the case for any Nigerian leader today.

Such a tragedy it will be for Edolites, to have a governor who is lacking intellectually, morally and technically.

I don't support how they conducted the election but eloquence English, has nothing to do with Governance. For Reuben to start checking who is right or wrong in English Language is trivial

I repeat this is the arrogance of the socalled educated Nigerian. We are so far down the rabbit hole of white man sychophancy and Uncle Tomism that we dont seem to understand we are a minority and our views, opinions or votes dont really matter in a democracy where the majority are not western educated. We are less than 20% of the population (if that) and this is why Nigeria will never work for the educated man in a democracy.

The irony is that the educated Nigerian is the one who promotes the system that brings about his downfall all in his constant bid to be like the white man.
