Good evening Nigerians, please I am writing this post to seek for help and advice on what to do...

Loan apps have rendered me useless totally, and it's recently it dawned on me that I made it possible for this mental stress to fall on me...

It all started last year when I was duped the sum of 250,000 naira, and I begged everyone living around me to help me, but non offered to help, I had no choice than to resort to loan apps, I started taking from loan apps with the intention that help would come and I will pay them back before due date, but it didn't work as I planned...

Trouble started pilling up for me when I started taking from one app to pay another, just because I don't want to default on any one (I was doing this because I am scared of them publishing my pics or calling my contacts to defame me)...

Fast forward to 8 months later, am now overwhelmed... What I was avoiding is what I must now face...

I am indebted to okash, xcross cash, new credit, branch and Fairmoney...

Many of these debts are over a week due, and I have been receiving calls and text from some of them... The constant calls and text gives me mental stress, sleepless nights...

Though I have intention of clearing every debt I owe the loan apps, just can't meet up with the deadlines, and I can't continue taking from one loan app to pay the other, cause it won't end...

Please what advice can you give to me on how to go about this, what and what should I be worried about, I don't care about the credit score that would be affected due to late payment, I just don't want my name to be dragged as a fraudster or defame in anyway, just as they've threatened to do ...

I just need advice... And if possible help

Bro, I understand you want to give to Caesar what belongst to Caesar, and give to Paul what belongst to Paul.
But you didn't have to rob Peter to pay Paul..

Call them yourself, apologies for the delay, make them understand that you don't have the cash to pay for now as you've been duped.

Thereafter, advise them to go ahead and report you to credit bureau. Once you've cleared your loan, they can delist you.

They have no right to publish your name to friends or family members. In Nigeria, it's not a criminal offense to be indebted or default in loan payment. You can sue them for defamation.

I encourage you to be strong. Please don't borrow from any place again.

Thanks for this advise... How I wish I used my wisdom earlier on, the debt wouldn't have gotten to this extent... I think I would pick or reply their text and just tell them, to damage what ever credit score they want to damage and I will pay back...

This is what you get when you salary requires you to drink beer, but you kept on asking for wine.
Don't fake it until you make it, don't live to impress anyone.

Mine was worst, my total money i owe lots of this loan app should get close to a million naira i almost ran mad due to their threats and disturbances, at a point i told my wife to call my parents should at any point i start misbehaving due to mental stress, i had no where to get money n pay back up till now, but there call few of my contact n ask them to tell me to pay my loan, but shi shi I no get, na so them tire self, almost a year now, few still plead with me to pay off so they can clear my bvn from credit bureau, but no money to pay, brother no kill your self, if u can pay ,u pay, if u can't u see as bad debt, nothing de sup

Read the book below or just adopt the attitude of the title. Internally consider yourself an OUTLAW, and let them do their worst. Due to societal false conditioning we humans care waaay too much!

Print your Obituary poster and send to them through any of your family members, telling them that you died due to their pressure.

I owe almost 500k in total and I am a salary earner, I am currently doing a contribution to get bulk money to just clear it all, cause a monthly payment can't even clear one of the app successfully... How I wish they can just give me time...

I don't know what you believe in, or how your faith is stratified, but I am confident that The LORD Jesus pulls people out of pits and ditches. I have been there, helpless, clueless, but I cried out to Him for help, and He came through for me - He created an unfamiliar opportunity for an inflow and that was it.

People who have never been in the kind of mess cannot understand - it's not about being reckless in spending, but the result of the circumstances of Life.

God is real peps, He is Father, and He helps. OP, table this matter to God with all sincerity, He is waiting for you, He will definitely help you.

Life happens at times!!
If the determination to pay is there, just start from somewhere and start paying little by little; it's a matter of time.
Don't get depressed by that, life is not always as planned.

I need a reset, to be reloaded with this way of life; this soy-like, shamy way of living has done one the greatest harm. Although i owe no app other than family relations.
