Many don't understand how bandits operate.
The NAF targeted a group of bandits while mingling with some civilian populace
and now we have collateral damage.
Sometimes, the collaterals are very small and doesn't make the news.
Other times, it is quite large as it appears in this case.

This isn't peculiar to Nigeria, it happened several times when US was in Afghanistan.
It is currently happening in Gaza and Lebanon.
It is impossible to engage in aerial bombing of militants who like to embed themselves
with civilians without taking some innocents along.
