Yes they have investigative power but not to waste their time on petty beer parlor gist like the rubbish they are doing there. they invited VDM to come judge his own part of the story, i guess it is because they are so idle that is why they have so much time to waste doing nothing, bunch of clowns. this country is gone long ago.

Son, nobody doubts the fact that the legislative arm of government have investigative powers (it's no secret) but it is pertinent to point out the incongruity of your comparison! They are not at par!

You will think that the NNPCL cum Dangote beef will catch their attention but no, here they are summoning and giving mileage to some bunch of clout chasers on an issue that our Police Force/EFCC/ICPC/Correctional Agency should handle and only IF after these aforementioned agencies leave any matter in doubt, that is when you will expect them to show their faces-albeit a formality!

I called it beer parlour gist for you to see the inanity of our National Assembly jumping on this case and hoped that you will catch my drift but naah...sorry!

In a case like this, isnt the FIRST thing to do even before listening to all the "noise" be to get the audio recording and fact check its authenticity? Is that the forte of our National assembly or our security agencies?

Justifying this hearing (or whatever you want to call it) on the basis of the exercise of their investigative powers is in my estimation inane on their part and you making that misaligned comparison is just peurile!

He is absolutely right. Since our National Assembly has become a handbag (👜) that even confused and senseless @Bobrisky can carry, let VDM show them that he can carry it better. I am proud of his response to those nonentities that call themselves Honourable Members.
