If you notice the text you quoted, the commenter said "dirty things". That comment is bad enough, but I didn't see a tribe being mentioned there, not even in the topic. Lagos is a cosmopolitan city, probably the most cosmopolitan in Nigeria, there's not a single tribe of people living in Lagos. Also, people use that exact phrase "dirty thing" to insult one another in Nigeria. Men use it to insult women about hygiene and relationships, and vice versa. People who consider themselves of a different class use it against others etc.

But let's assume the person you quoted meant a particular tribe of people, it means that he is truly a tribal bigot and you both are on the same level. You're not in any way better than them. The reason I'm responding to you and not them is because you're the one who quoted me and not them.

People like you tag me with a tribe and insult that tribe everyday, I don't go insulting a whole tribe back, I report them and move on, tribal bigotry is meant for tribal bigots and I am not one of them. It takes a whole level of low to insult a tribe. I don't think I'll be able to relate with my friends in real life while insulting their tribes online. It's like dining with the enemy, when someone finds their spouse is an enemy

For me, and everywhere in the world, it's ok to attack a political group like Tilumbu supporters because they share the same ideologies or whatever bonds them together. Republicans and democrats do that all the time. You can't simply single yourself out when the majority agree, which means the joke is on you not me.

A tribal bigot is the lowest of the low in the society, like what you'll call riffraff. Most tribal bigots have nothing good going for them. Some others who pretend to be just do it for political reasons, though there are bigots who also make money and rise to fame.

What astonishes me is how a tribal bigot in Nigeria is fighting against a person believed to be a racist in the US for example. I notice that many tribal bigots like you support democrats more than republicans. They hate Trump who is considered by many as a racist. What could be the reason? Is it because of the classic "like poles repel"?
