The experience is really hurtful. Till now my children has not eaten because of one useless Bank that I deposited my money. The 2:30pm slated has been elapsed yet no network connection for any transaction to be carried out.

It's even 2:30am (02:30 na wetin den talk oo) that they were supposed to restore service oo. Yet, nothing

I abandoned that yeye bank since that day I stated awake for four straight nights just to find network to transfer 4k I was owing one malam. I'm surprised people still use that bank after that horrible cashless policy time

At least there was a prior notice to customers, unlike some banks that just decide to go mad anytime they choose

I use Opay for my everyday transactions. Fast and reliable. Traditional banks are something else, especially on weekends.

guy is u use unity bank you'll likely smash ur phone out of frustration... Unity bank is literally the worst bank I have ever known...

You guys complaining, try and use unity bank fit just a month, I gave never seen any bank as useless and terrible as that bank.

I think Nigerian banks are now suffering from the mass exodus of tech professionals... Many have japa'd, others are waiting to japa!

Most tech guys are no longer working for Naija organisations where they pay 500k thinking it's big money, expecting you to work Monday through Saturday.

This wasn’t as a result of lack of professionals. It’s a planned cutover to a new system. I think they had a test run in their staging environment last weekend before going ahead with the plan to cut over production. Many moving parts in major migration projects like this, so I won’t be surprised if they have to rollback if needed

Alright... My post was based on personal observation though... I have noticed many banks having technical issues this period and I don't think it's a coincidence, but then again, what do I know...

What sort of frustration bank is this? Mine just opened now guess what? I now have a 0.00 ledger balance and above all, my account automatically became dormant.

Could this not be a way to curb protest sponsor as this is experienced across many bans?
