Tinubu and those around him are mad men, busy running around like headless chickens.

They keep moving around in circles.

All efforts should be channelled in ensuring that the pump price of fuel, which they deliberately increased while masking it as deregulation of the downstream sector, is reduced drastically to at least below N200 per litre where they met it and watched prices of goods and services begin to reduce, the inflation rate reducing as well, and also transportation costs reduce with its ripple effect on other things.
The earlier u admit it the better for you... Fuel price will never be 200naira again.

Ofunaofu, get use to the fact that price of fuel is not coming down anytime soon. The sector has been liberalized and payment of fuel subsidy will never factor in Nigerian budgetary allocations anymore. That's the current reality and your cursing and abusing Tinubu will not change anything.
Also I want you to choose between IPOB and Obidient which one you want to represent. Stop confusing yourself.

Now that this announcement has been made, I hope those selling the above mentioned stuff won't still sell it at a high price with the excuse that they want to finish the old stock first. Because that has always been their excuse from day 1.
That's the problem with us as Nigerians.

Okoroawusa, you don't even understand that bold

If truly there is liberalization in that sector, why is NNPCL fixing prices?

It seems Tinubu is robbing the rich to pay the poor
How will removal of VAT translate to cheaper prices?
At the end of the day, the big companies are being subsidised at the expense of the masses
Where's that clown who used to rail against subsidy again?

You removed tax on it then the price shoots up so what's the benefit of the tax that was removedhuh

A kg of gas 2/3 months ago was #1,100 but now it's #1,400 so I ask again why remove the tax if the outcome will lead to an increasehuh

There are degrees of liberalization. We have started as a country and we will get there. The political will to even start is what I applaud because all our lives as a people is tied to the price of fuel. NNPC fixing price is not ideal but we are not in an ideal country either. If you leave the sector just like that the Nigerian factor will spoil everything for everyone. Nigerians are naturally greedy

It will never go back to where they met it. If that is what you want, you're inviting destitution for your children's children's.

A litre of crude oil is N750 at $75 per barrel. How then can petrol sell at N200/litre?

They should please stop removing taxes on these things cos I’ve noticed anytime they announce that they’ve removed taxes on something, that’s when the price actually goes up instead of down… who dey deceive who?

The other time, they said they removed tax on paddy rice. Can someone please remind me the current price of rice or paddy rice compared to before the tax removal policy was announced?
Nigeria need an agency for price control

Mention one country in the world that sells petrol at the equivalent of N200 per litre.

With subsidy or not?

Good. Now compare Libya’s population with that of Nigeria and see which is sustainable.

And don’t also forget that Libya makes about 25 billion dollars annually from oil while Nigerian earns about 30 billion dollars in the same period.

And I bet you don’t know that they are already in financial crises already.
Thank you for educating him. Like Reno said, the challenge with Nigeria is the entitlement mentality we have. We want to live off the country.
