A faction of the People's Democratic Party, PDP in Rivers State led by Chief Chukwuemeka Aaron are currently protesting at the office of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC against the October 5th Council Poll. The Protesters said going ahead with the local government election is in contravention to existing court orders, urges RSIEC to suspend the election.

Is it same court that said he should go ahead with the elections? If they don't like the outcome of Oct 5 they should go to court isn't it what you all always say when your gods rig themselves into office?

same court? Is like you think state high courts is the same thing with federal high courts abi ?

But maybe I am missing something,,

The Federal High Court did not order;

"Don't conduct LGA elections"


The FHC Abuja ordered "INEC do not release the voters' register,, Police do not participate in the LGA elections"


So if RISIEC can do the election without Register and Police,, what is their problem??
