Honestly, These countries which you mentioned of which I happen to have lived in both of them have this limits because of taxes, logistics and very few real friends/ friends . We do take many things for granted in Nigeria, but the way we celebrate is mind blowing to these people and to some extent might make them envious. Yes! We Africans have something, which is genuine love for our countrymen and family members despite the fact that in some families you see some bickering here and there. Nigerians can't see injustice or oppression taking place without intervening, I can't say the same for citizens from these countries. They'll jump and pass. Finally it's better to have a big party or celebration where everyone comes and eat as living in unison is better than eating and dieing alone. Believe me I know what I'm talking about. |
