The judiciary is the arm of government that will ignite the fire on the explosive country, it should be mandatory for any government officials to hold only Nigeria passport and no other country because when gbege burst, they are the first to take off, imagine a judge ordering the police not to provide protection, even if the person is a criminal, the police is expected to protect every citizen. |

I am so ashamed of the Nigeria Police. What a fuck3d security agency!!! ![]() How can a man in Abuja control a constitutionally recognized govt agency through the IG who is whack, partisan and undemocratic? Pls Gov. Fubara, let's die over this oppression. Let the election hold and let anything that wants to happen, happens. Enough is totally enough!! |

Kukutenla:no offence pls, how old are you ? there is difference between participating in an election and doing your lawful duty by protecting laws and orders. let me help you break it down , The police are ban from observing and giving protection during the election as they usually do during election. but not stopping them from obeying the court order that the election shouldnt hold. |

Police is obeying Wike orders would have been a more appropriate headline. Because no court, not even the Supreme Court should have the power to stop the police from providing security which is their statutory responsibility. But if the Nigerian Police Force have decided to become a political tool in the hands of politicians battle, then I suggest Governor Fubara should hire a Private Security Outfit or draft in militants from the creeks to provide security and ensure the Local Government elections go on smoothly |

Benbellamor:Tinubu is not the emperor of Nigeria. Tinubu cannot stop Local Government elections, he doesn't have the power to do so. Nigeria is a Federal Republic not a Unitary Republic |

Wike has sold Rivers to APC, Rivers people should ignore APC candidates and vote LP and other parties since PDP won't participate. If I were Fubara I would adopt some LP and other prominent candidate for the LG election ![]() |

Tinubu with his thuggish Agbero mentality wants to turn Nigeria Police Force to NURTW or RTEAN. Right now, there is no difference between IGP and Mc Oluomo. There is absolutely no reason why Local Government elections in Rivers should be a problem if not for Wike. Kwara, Anambra, Delta held their LG elections recently without any noise despite the fact that there is a video of an APC member thumb printing results for APC in Kwara state in the bush, nobody said anything. Now because of that arrogant bastard called Wike, there must be issues in Rivers . The idiotic agbado supporters are busy cheering this lawlessness, just imagine if it was Jonathan doing all these, Tinubu and his propaganda media would probably have gone to cry to Biden that GEJ wants to destroy Nigeria. The frog eyed móron is Aso Rock is allowing the Police Force to be turned into lap dogs of his political ally |
