The drainage channels which led the water to the University is not a Federal drainage, the water source came from outside the University and if the lazy fraudulent governor had done his job, the flood won't cause damage anywhere, University or anywhere.

Or do you want me to insinuate that the governor knowingly channeled the flood into the University because he wants to destroy the University since its not state owned?

What's the business of Gov. Seyi Makinde with a federal university? That responsibility rests squarely on the Vice-Chancellor of UI, who should call the attention of the Minister of Education. The issue of flooding is a natural disaster no one forsee. It will be tackled.

UI students from one trouble to another. Recently they were chased out of their hostels by the school management over the protest against hike in fees, now it is flood that want to chase them.

University of Ibadan is a Federal University, under the Federal Ministry of Education. The federal Minister of Education tables the destruction before the President who will ask the federal Minister of Works to repair the flooding areas, if the ministry of works has the expertise in the foundation and hall rehabilitation cos federal ministry of works does roads, bridges, and flyovers constructions, repairs and maintenances among others.

However, the University of Ibadan has a Department of Maintenance, this department can rehabilitate the flooded areas and the hall.

In another development, it is wrong to criticize the Governor because the University of Ibadan is not under the ownership of the Oyo State Government.

Yes, the University of Ibadan Authorities may seek for the Oyo State Government's assistance in repairing the affected areas

University of Ibadan should be converted to a cattle ranch!

The institution is living on old glory and does not deserve to be called a university again.

The Federal government should transfer students to other schools and let cattle’s graze the land mass. It’s more productive.
