Jehovah wasn't talking to the nation of Israel in that verse rather He was referring to people from all the nations who have the same line of thought like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob {Matthew 8:10-12} as for the nation of Israel that forgot the true God {Psalms 9:17} they have been scattered forever {Luke 11:23} God warned their forefathers that if their descendants should reject the promised Messiah they will be cut off forever {Deuteronomy 18:18-19} this people called down evil upon themselves saying the blood of God's son should be asked from their hands and the hands of their unborn generations {Matthew 27:25} so Jesus has told them that the blessings God promised Abraham is no more for them rather it has been given to another nation {Matthew 21:43} so they have been CURSED! Matthew 23:37-38

So if you want to know spiritual Jews today go and read what Paul said about those whom God view as real JEWS {Romans 2:25-29} not people who rejected His only begotten Son! John 3:16-19
