You really have no choice. You'd believe what you're programmed to believe - by your birth place, environment, experiences, etc. NOT by choice or thinking |

John 14:6 Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. God promised His worshipers that there will be a Highway a way of holiness {Isaiah 35:8} so faithful worshipers of God have been waiting for centuries after hearing what Isaiah said but when Jesus began his earthly ministry the israelites were puzzled they keep wondering what this young man is doing with his teaching that's why he reminded them of what Isaiah said about the way of holiness without which no man can grasp what God really means! Matthew 5:8 As for your Quran i think you should go and ask those taking the lead in your religion! ![]() |

The Bible verse you quoted is as clear as daylight. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Without him, you can never get to God. What is confusing here?. If you still don't understand, then you can't be helped ![]() |

CanadaOrBust:True, as in super true sef. No difference between religions belief and language. Na wetin u meet people dey do, u go follow do. Every Religion claims to be the only way and truth. Its not exclusive to Islam and Christianity. ALL religion believes in different gods and the only thing they have in common is the devil - different name and forms but STILL THE SAME NIGG* |

Natbrowny:I'm telling you. But I was thinking, how do atheists end up as such? Seun for instance, it's not like they were born where there were no religions |
| Re: The 2 Most Confusing Verses In The Bible And Quran by Natbrowny: 4:47pm On Oct 05, 2024 |
CanadaOrBust:When it comes to atheists - MOST OF THEM ARE AGNOSTICS. Technically, an atheist is someone who doesn't believe in a god, while an agnostic is someone who doesn't believe it's possible to know for sure that a god exists. |

Natbrowny:Well, Seun is not only a full-blown atheist, he doesn't even believe a supernatural exists at all! I once had a protracted debate with him about it, pointing out all the circumstantial evidence and he countered all |
| Re: The 2 Most Confusing Verses In The Bible And Quran by AntiChristian: 9:14pm On Oct 05, 2024 |
Islam is the only religion as all Prophets practised Islam! No Prophet claimed he practised Judaism or Christianity! What they all practiced was strict monotheism which is Islam! Noah was a Muslim! Abraham was a Muslim! Jesus was a Muslim! Muhammad was a Muslim! Whoever dies without being a Muslim will be doomed! |
| Re: The 2 Most Confusing Verses In The Bible And Quran by CanadaOrBust: 2:26am On Oct 06, 2024 |
AntiChristian:Well, Muslims pray 5 times, do Ramadan, face Mecca, hit their heads, do pilgrimage, fight for Allah, expect 72 virgins, say pbuh, etc. I don't think any prophet practiced any of those |
| Re: The 2 Most Confusing Verses In The Bible And Quran by AntiChristian: 7:19am On Oct 06, 2024 |
CanadaOrBust:They practiced what Allah told them to practise! The fact is that they all worshipped one God alone without partners they way God wants them to worship Him! They have their own type of prayer, fasting, etc. |
| Re: The 2 Most Confusing Verses In The Bible And Quran by Expanse2020(m): 8:10am On Oct 06, 2024 |
CanadaOrBust:If you believe Muslim hot thier head to pray and you taught no other prophets did that it like you are deceiving yourself OOO Because Abraham, Moses, Jesus did that too If only you can show me in the bible where Abraham, Moses and Jesus were dancing, singing, belling to God during there prayer section to God I will believe they were Christians too |

Expanse2020:Provide verses according to the Bible where Jesus did that |

AntiChristian:And why would same Allah mandate they practise totally different from what one must do to attain Firdaus? As for music, what do you think the Psalms are? That's MUSIC composed by musician, to be played with instruments and danced. Who knows why Muhammad prohibited Muslims from music! (*In Islam, heaven is called Jannah or Firdaus) |
| Re: The 2 Most Confusing Verses In The Bible And Quran by CanadaOrBust: 12:07pm On Oct 06, 2024*. Modified: 2:59am On Oct 07, 2024 |
AntiChristian:Christians also worship only one God. That one God is plural and refers to Himself as plural: In Genesis God said, "Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness", "Behold, the man is become as one of US, to know good and evil." At the building of the Tower of Babel God said, "Go to, let US go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one anothers speech". In Isaiah, Isaiah heard the Lord say, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for US?" Do you really believe God has never been to earth in some form and dwelt among humans? Does that seem natural to you? God is ONE Spirit, but that one Spirit can simultaneously have different expressions. As for practice, why would same Allah mandate they practise totally different from what one must do to attain Firdaus?? |
| Re: The 2 Most Confusing Verses In The Bible And Quran by AntiChristian: 2:37pm On Oct 06, 2024*. Modified: 3:38pm On Oct 06, 2024 |
CanadaOrBust:This is a big contradiction! It unfounded that God is plural and is also One at the same time time! No Prophet preaches this without ambiguity even in your Bible. What is clear is hear O Israel the Lord our God is one! It is either he is one or three! Adam didn't relate with three in one Gods. He related with just one despite the "us". Same as Moses, Abraham and others! Even John the baptist wasn't aware of the trinity! And Allah is All-powerful! He doesn't need help in creation to require others services! "Let us make man" who was He talking to? Do you really believe God has never been to earth in some form and dwelt among humans? Does that seem natural to you? God is ONE Spirit, but that one Spirit can simultaneously have different expressions. What's God doing on earth Dwelling with humans? This is not the God I know! He is far above His creations yet His knowledge encompasses everything! He knows everything that will happen thousands of years before it happens! He's not a spirit! Only He knows Himself! And doesn't need to be somewhere for His sign to be established! As for practice, why would same Allah mandate they practise totally different from what one must do to attain Firdaus??That's Allah's will for his servants! The Torah is different from the injeel which is different from the Qur'an! Yet they all come from Allah! Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Both in this world and in the Hereafter, I am the nearest of all the people to Jesus, the son of Mary. The prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one." |

Tayorshd87:When two persons say what is contradicting and you're asked to be the judge will you just sit back expecting others to do the job for you? Both books have made the same type of claim so it's your job to figure out which one is lying and which is the truth! ![]() |
| Re: The 2 Most Confusing Verses In The Bible And Quran by AntiChristian: 2:49pm On Oct 06, 2024 |
CanadaOrBust:Paradise is called Jannah! Firdaus is the best part of Paradise! Music was permitted for David just as Adam married someone we can call his daughter who was created from him! Even his sons and daughters married themselves! These are forbidden to subsequent Prophets! At the onset of Islam Alcohol was permitted but it was later entirely forbidden! So following Allah's will is what makes us Muslims! Whoever follows Allah's will during Noah's time is a Muslim! Same with other Prophets! We believe in the Zabur (Psalms) revealed to David as well as the other revelations. But they were sent to the specific people as guidance. Not to us. |
| Re: The 2 Most Confusing Verses In The Bible And Quran by CanadaOrBust: 10:00pm On Oct 06, 2024*. Modified: 2:40am On Oct 07, 2024 |
AntiChristian:Jannah literally means garden. Paradise is mostly referred to as Jannah Al Firdaus or Jannathul Firdaus, but you can also just say Jannah. Jannathul Firdaus is the highest level of Jannah. Are you saying Allah's will changes? Allah never changes but his will does! Wow! Please know the difference between laws made for man (and likely by man) and laws made by God ************* Jannatul Firdaus: Means "the fragrance of the garden of heaven". It is a popular fragrance in India that is citrus fresh and mildly sweet. Al-Firdaus: The Arabic word for "paradise". It is the highest, most spacious, and best part of Jannah. The word comes from the Persian word Pardis, which is also the origin of the English word "paradise". |

AntiChristian:See this one talking about contradictions. And you don't see contradiction in the fact that Allah is all powerful and all good yet a tsunami killed ½ million people, childhood cancer killed a child, etc. Once again, God is Spirit, and spirit can have more than one expression and still remain one. Example, if you could send your thoughts on errand, those your thoughts would still be you, yet different expression of you! Spirit can be in more than one body yet remain one Spirit. So you're telling me, if you created this world you wouldn't want to have first hand experience of it from human perspective?? |

Tayorshd87:Humans starts asking thought provoking questions at tender age but as we grow older most people stopped asking only to start using their imperfect mindset to judge matters after seeing many people they respected doing things that seems stupid so they begin to doubt a lot of things they were taught to believe from childhood. But wise ones won't stop asking untill they are able to get satisfying answers which will bring them joy. Have you ever wondered: • How did life begin? • Why are we here? • Why do innocent people suffer? • What happens when a person dies? • If everyone wants peace, why so much war? • What will happen to the earth in the future? Your persistence in finding answers to these life's important questions will show the type of husband, wife, father, mother, neighbor or colleague you will become in the society and that's what is affecting our world today. So if you like sit back and continue joking with all these things while others are making effort to find the answers whatever goes around comes around your happiness in the future largely depends on finding answers to these questions. Do have a lovely week! ![]() |
| Re: The 2 Most Confusing Verses In The Bible And Quran by CanadaOrBust: 1:50pm On Oct 07, 2024 |
MaxInDHouse:While others are genuinely and honestly trying to find answers to the questions and modifying their answers as new evidence emerges, you're stuck in an ancient book with contradictions, written by diverse authors, and refusing to modify your views no matter what real-world evidence emerges! Do have a wonderful week! |

U are on point But yet not the best way to approach the questions either ways MaxInDHouse: |
| Re: The 2 Most Confusing Verses In The Bible And Quran by MaxInDHouse(m): 3:55pm On Oct 07, 2024 |
Tayorshd87:When both books present their answers it will be evident in the lives and manner of approach of those adhering to the teachings of these books. Just think about how a person will feel after getting satisfying answers to those questions then try to imagine how such ones will behave in the society! Matthew 7:21-23 |
