I read that the final court for an LG election petition is the state high court (Tho I don't know how true it is). Funny enough it is the governor that appoints the State CJ who heads the state high court.

If that is true, there's no need to even appeal the result.

One thing I’m glad about is the fact that a thug like Wike didn’t end up in the Aso Rock eventually.

Kudos to everyone that conspired to make sure he never got the PDP ticket to even stand a chance to be on the ballot in 2023.

I can’t even imagine the kind of tyrannical government Wike would’ve constituted. Whatever we think is wrong that is being done by Tinubu politically now , it would’ve been worse under a government headed by Wike .

If u think opposition members and dissenting voices are being hounded and silenced under Tinubu ; it would’ve been much more worse under Wike . That guy will literally have people’s houses blown off with dynamites for opposing his policies or staging anti-government protests .
