Likely more than 85% of those Adeboye refers there to as his children will never see or experience riches in their life, not because of criticism from social media, but majorly because RCCG miracles will never get around to meet the individual desires of the vast majority of their members. There are only so many government contracts/connections these scammers-in-the-lords can hand out sheeple. Sadly, those members unable to make large donations to the church regularly, are bound to be passed over when one becomes available.

Now, if we investigate the source of the money used to purchase the Roll Royce that Oyedepo was gifted, the chances are above 99.99% that we go find say na corruption money dem use to buy those gifts for am. Oyedepo is surely aware of even this but does it matter? Of course not! Money and material wealth are indicators as far as the blessing of their church gods.

This is not true!!! The indication of one’s Christianity is the relationship they have with God. If they have the best cars or none at all does not indicate their Christianity. If they can afford luxuries and they buy them does not mean they are not Christians. If they choose to give the best to their pastors, it is their choice. This does not make them Christians. But, it does not stop them from being Christians also.

Yes, I agree with you, most of the heavy money is linked one way or the other to corruption. Eg look at that ojo guy and his briefcase company earning 500m claiming to consult for the humanitarian ministry. All wealth without enterprise.

Jesus said to his disciples, if you must follow me, you must leave all what you've got behind. Family, money, properties.

I'm not saying a man of God should be poor, but there are some opulence that are anti-Jesus, especially in a country as poor as Nigeria. The money for that Rolls Royce can be used to build homes for the destitutes, this is what Christianity is all about. You and I know, if Jesus was to be Oyedepo, he will reject the gift, and ask the giver to sell it and use the proceeds to take care of the orphanages. This is the Christianity I once know.

This is why T. B Joshua was seen as a more Christlike pastor than all others. Mind you I've never been to Synagogue before.

There are millions of Nigerians right there in Nigerian churches both at home and abroad who have done the very same you claim your father did, some for most all of their lives, yet with near nothing to show for it. Worse, many started off pretty OK only to end up drained physically and financially after many decades of practicing the same.
