Romans 10:4
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

What is the meaning of this verse?

Christ is king

The road to eternal salvation

Ordinarily saying,
Above him, there's no LAW and he's the righteousness and judgement....

Christ is the end of the law according to Romans 10:4 signifies the fulfillment of the Old Testament law through Jesus Christ. The law, given through Moses, was a covenant between God and Israel, setting out moral, ceremonial, and civil regulations. However, the purpose of the law was to point people to Christ, revealing humanity's inability to attain righteousness on its own.

When Paul says that "Christ is the end of the law," it means that through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus fulfilled the requirements of the law, and the law's role as a way of achieving righteousness has been brought to completion. Christians are no longer under the old law (the Mosaic Law) but are under the law of Christ, which emphasizes faith, grace, and obedience through the teachings of the New Testament

Means Christ way of life is the only thing to follow and copy.

Anything binding before he came no longer applies.
In other words, anything written (and practiced) in the old testament does not concern his followers (Christians).

Christ is the king

"For Christ is the Law" on Him the judgment will be derived from not from any other law BUT from watch He thought, showed and sent us. That's why he said "we should follow His footsteps"

Simply means, when you have accepted Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and live your life just like Him then you're not subjected to the law anymore; you've moved behind the law

Be righteous always

Meaning

Jesus the Christ, have fulfilled all the requirements of the law.

and the day you accepted Jesus into your life, you are RIGHTEOUS FOREVER before God the Father.

All your sins...

Past , Present and even the one you will commit tomorrow have been taking care of by Jesus the Christ.

So you don't have to feel guilty when you fall into Temptation.

Just pick yourself up and live like the Righteous person that Christ has made you.

Remember....

You are RIGHTEOUS FOREVER, because of the price that Jesus paid on the cross.

So live and act like a Righteous person.

It means on Jesus can save us not the law in the old testament

Jesus is your/our righteousness....

And not the law...

If you follow all that the law says ...and you don't have JESUS

You are still not safe

It simply means Christ is the end of the ten commandments.

It means Righteousness is a gift in Christ Jesus, not by observing or keeping the law. To obtain this gift one need to declare his lordship (Jesus) over his/her life.

Paul is just saying what Christ didn't say himself!

Christ did tell the rich ruler that to gain eternal life obey the commandments first, sell everything you have and donate to the poor and follow me!

Christians can't do this hence Paul created another way for them to avoid obedience to the law!

We are no more under the condemnation of law. Because Christ has liberated us by paying the utmost sacrifice for our Sins. We are saved by his Grace.

Why should the books written in century ago be the guidelines for this current century? Huh

It means your natural state of man answerable to the law is dead.

As you have accepted christ, you are free from the natural state and now in the spirit with heavenly father and not answerable to the law.

It means that looking unto Christ, walking in his footsteps and being yoked with him is all that Christianity is, it’s not about saying I won’t do this or don’t do that, by simply doing things the way Jesus would have done them in any situation will certainly make one a Christian not by trying on your own to do what is right or not wrong,
In law sin is empowered, where there is law, there’s a trap to catch who didn’t follow the law

simple statement to decode well not a practicing Christian anymore I don wise up. Old testament and new testament that is the meaning in order words Jesus came to debunk the laws of the old testament the BCs the laws of moses and some of Abraham and brought in love and commitment to Christ living in unity and always preaching the true gospel of love. We shouldn't live under the law but with love amongst others. But you want to hear the truth none of our pastors are doers of Christ preaching part of the reason I stopped going to church would rather listen to scripture videos on YouTube
