I miss the days when I was a little kid, when every story in the Bible fascinated me, and I never questioned anything. Now, whenever something is mentioned, I start asking myself: How fair is this? How just? And how reasonable? After a long time away from church, I attended today, and during the sermon, the pastor recounted how Jesus was saved from being killed by Herod after his birth. Meanwhile, other children his age in the facility where he was born were killed by Herod. I found myself asking: Did those innocent children have to die? What crime did they commit? Why didn’t God stop their deaths? Why didn’t God save the other babies same way baby Jesus was saved? Where is the justice in that? Why didn’t God simply stop Herod from committing such a wicked act? Why didn’t He just kill Herod? Or, considering that the Bible says the heart of the king is in the hand of God, why didn’t God change his heart? DID THOSE INNOCENT CHILDREN HAVE TO DIE?

But A God in heaven who sees and knows all and defends the innocent and the helpless from injustice would have prevented those senseless killings.

If he truly was as all knowing and powerful as we are compelled to believe he is.


Imagine the pain and torture the Babies and their families had to go through.


Two years and below, that’s a lot of children 😫


Then again let’s ask, did this event really happen?! It’s only recounted by Mathew, nobody else has mentioned it in the Bible, that’s really odd 🙄

Odd if you take into fact that killing babies two years and below, that’s the one time in history a story like that has ever happened, which would have made it really big and loud.

Of all the Gospel Writers, Of all the Disciples and apostles, even evangelists, none has mentioned or verified this strange tale ever occurred.

Again, why would any ruler in history commit an atrocity like that without being checked by authorities higher than him or called to order.


My take? I will say this event never happened.

From man's perception babies are innocent but from God's view even the fetus inside it's mother's womb is deserving of death because they are all sinners! Psalms 51:5 compare to Romans 5:12

So whether they die as a fetus in their mother's womb , as a day old baby, as a toddler, as a teenager, as a youth or as an old man or woman it's still the same thing from the sight of God to whom all humans are like walking corpses! Luke 9:60

After Jesus' death mankind's sin inherited from Adam has been removed but it will soon begin to manifest when God's Kingdom is established here on earth {Matthew 6:10} by then there will be no more death {Revelations 21:3-5} because God will swallow up death forever! Isaiah 25:8

Whoever has developed a personality before death catches up with him or her will be brought back to life in God's Kingdom {John 5:28-29} whether they believe in God or not {Act 24:15} but people who chooses to be wicked have killed their own conscience so they will not be remembered that time instead they will be left in their dead condition forever! Psalms 9:17

God can't prevent babies from being killed if their parents are deserving of death He will do that in His Kingdom when all creations are ready to do His will by then any evil person found their will be given a fair chance to live and change within a hundred years but if they failed to change them they will die not as old man or woman but as a youth in their hundredth year! Isaiah 65:20

So my friend the true God has a sound reason why He allowed all those things to happen and you can learn more if you're willing to!

This is a lie, God never claimed to know everything about man's next line of action but regarding His own purpose which nothing can stop it He knows everything.

Why did the God of Israel have this need to save the other babies? Did the God of Israel agree to save all Israelite babies or what?

Did the God of Israel decree somewhere in His Law that He would save babies because you assume them innocent? I mean if the God of Israel did not even save many of His own "innocent" prophets from the hands of their murderers why would He have needed to save the babies?

So, basically, this God you imagine, should abandon his own agreement with the people to do instead what you desire or demand of him? Just imagine someone out there completely ignoring the details of the agreement you made with him or her but choosing instead to impose his ideas and will on you as far as how you can and should operate... what would you think of such a person?

Is it not you people that say God do not exist simply because God is a spirit that you cannot perceive with your senses?
How come you are expecting what you cannot perceive with your senses to save what you can perceive?
