Please check the list and remove Cambodia. Even getting a Cambodia visa with a Nigerian passport is now difficult, even if you manage to get it, at the POE you'll be scrutinized like an already confirmed criminal. |

Only Iran make sense for all these countries. As for Barbados, you need a transit visa to go there, and embassy will most likely not give it unless the Nigerian is flying from the west. At least eleven are ecowas countries. Many are microstates that Oshodi is bigger than in population. |

Firstly, Cambodia no longer allows Nigerians, talk more of being visa free. You listed so many ECOWAS countries like Ghana, Senegal etc. of course, they’re in one community just like EU, so no visa required. The rest of the countries are mostly at war or tiny islands. They’re not viable and very expensive to visit as tourists. For instance, Maldives or Fiji may be visa free but you will end up spending fortunes on flight tickets. You may also require transit visa in some of the countries your flight will stop over at. The truth is that our passport will remain very weak as long as our economy is in shambles. No reasonable country will give us free entry because we will flood there the next day. What makes a passport very strong is basically when your economy is good, your citizens have no interest in traveling out, and when they do, it’s just for tourism and they return without overstaying. Once your country has a high percentage of overstaying their visa like Nigerians, the passport will become trash. |

pansophist:Even Iran doesn’t make sense, it has become a shithole due to many years of sanctions. Why would anyone want to go to Iran? |

Asianplug:I will like to go to Iran. I will also like to go to North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, and Antarctica. If your only reason for travelling is for survival, then you have denied yourself the beauty of this world. Iran is the home of the Persian empire. The Persians were the first to construct routes of communication between three continents (Africa, Asia and Europe). They also built many new roads and developed the world's first postal service. Their history is very rich, and the most brilliant mathematician I know of was a Persian girl, my ex class mate. Her name is Parisa. She showed me the beauty of Persian hospitality, gave me tea when I visit, and a well-rounded awesome human being. I have tried Iranian foods, and they are awesome. The average Iranians are well-educated, and for such country to still threaten Israel even after decades of heavy sanctions and US backing of Israel goes to show how strong and resilient their civilisation is. You should also be asking yourself why just one country have a problem with everyone, and is sanctioning everyone. Think for yourself man. Only the US sanctioned China, Russia, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Zimbabwe, and so many more countries. But somehow the problem is not the US? If you like, allow your biases to prevent you from enjoying the beauty of this world, or to see every places through the angle of hustling. You will miss alot. |

I absolutely agree with you about traveling to see and experience the world. That’s exactly my worldview too because I’m a travel vlogger on Youtube. However, traveling is very expensive. You definitely need to be economically stable to do that. We know that majority of Nigerians keen on Japa are doing so for survival and that’s the ones I’m refering to. pansophist: |
