Though the signs were there, cause I take life serious . My pattern was different from my elderly ones. I have this hustling spirit that have never been see in my family. Sometime family members used to tease my mom if she is the one that gave birth to me or she adopted me.
Today here I am hopeless, I lack morale, weak zero zeal. Facing health and emotional challenges. I have grown to be a man now, no wife, no kid.no investment no steady source of income. I can't even take good care of myself. I'm just retrogressing, selling some of my property to feed. I'm asking this questions? did I took the wrong path to life? Are there unknown forces like spirituality controlling my family? I just wonder how a whole full family come just poor finish from A to Z nobody fit make am. To even do well small, nobody. Or did i made some wrong decisions in life that have kept me like this?

Poverty might deal with you more if you failed to do what someone like you should have done earlier in your life. When I said "someone like you", I mean your background and family you found yourself. We are not all born with silver spoon but we can create a life for ourselves.
Now you are 34yrs old, imagine you have enrolled yourself to a car mechanical or electrical or car painting training at the age of 18? By now, you must have completed or almost complete your own house by now, have a small car and a family.
My advice is this: even at your age, enrol for a training and acquire a skill and have a change of life when you are 40.

@50 you still never settle down. You're a big liability to people around you. Let me make clear sir. Chances that a 50 yrs old will it make currently in this country is very slim. I don't mean rich just to provide for his basic need and care of his family will be very hard. At 50 he should be facing health issues. Except he is doing it, the illegal way it.he will find it hard to stand on his feet. At 50 nothing to show for your existence you will be mocked and ridiculed. Infact depression will set in. From there your health problem start. Ok, are you telling me if a 50yrs old single man should come for your 20yr old daughter for marriage you will be ok with it. Or if you have a firm you will employ 50 yrs old to work a staff not as a security guards. Oga stop to they cap anyhow. If future go better na today you go know.

you're right Sha. I should have learned a skill earlier. But when you think of the other side it wasn't really not my fault. Two weeks after my mom gave birth to me, she got separated from my dad. My mum struggle to take care of me and the rest of my siblings. When I was a little bit older she started passing me around her family members because the burden of taking care of 8 children was to much to bear so she had no choice. When I was 16yrs started living on my own. So i couldn't afford to learn a skill then, because I feed for myself, pay rent sponsoring my education then. Education was my priority then. That is why, I say maybe I took the wrong decision

I made a promise to myself. If I get a contract, I shall not eat a dime from the money till I complete the project to the satisfaction of my client. The result is that I have never had issue with any client. Instead, my clientele base keep increasing and more money keep flowing because I'm building a reputation of honesty, trust and reliability. Learn from me

Most tradesmen in Nigeria will make more money being honest and reliable rather than being competent and dishonest. Honesty and reliability are rarities in Nigeria, so even dishonest people prefer them.

This year I contributed handsomely to my father's burial and I will marry before this year runs out. Listen again, I was hopeless at 34 just two years ago. I'm not a rich man yet, but I live a more stable life now, I'm no longer selling my properties to feed instead I'm replacing the ones I sold.

I didn't do yahoo. I didn't do money ritual. I only focused on one particular thing, became the best at it and gradually money started coming. I'm a roofer, all my clients recommend me to their friends and family who need my service because I don't disappoint.

My advice? Pick something, give it your 100% and stand out in it. Money will definitely come.

Even if the OP gets a job tomorrow that's paying him 200k, how far can such amount of money take him considering how inflation keeps rising everyday?

I see a lot of people in my line of business that make huge profit in a job but would stay for a very long time before getting another job. While executing any job, I always ask myself: will this person recommend me for another job?

I keep emphasising it that having fewer children will do a lot of Nigerians good. It's the easiest way to fight poverty. Quality education comes next. It's why I don't oppose abortion or widespread of contraceptives. Even though low birth and marriage rates are being recorded across the developed world, I support people, especially women, delaying or letting go of childbearing rather than perpetuate poverty.

If your mom had two children or max children, things would have been much better because the scarce resources would have been shared with each getting a bigger pie than for eight children.

In today's Tinubulation, no family should have more than two children. Anything more than that, please have money. Raising children isn't cheap.

I'm in Lagos currently. I have never mentioned or heaped blames on anyone that is the cause of my struggle. So I don't see where the victim mentality is coming from. I'm a guy who get fed up of life. Even with the 100 percent effort, descipline and hunger I have towards life.
