For them not to have taken this business up all this time means there is something the government is not telling the masses, and I believe the cost the government is charging for this conversion is outrageous.

Gazzuz once told us the cost of this conversion on this forum. It wasn't up to half of what the government is charging. You can go through his thread for a clue.

Rest in Peace to him

Real idiots.

Any time they increase petrol, they immediately come out with CNG news nonsense everywhere. After some days you won't hear about it anymore.

The safety measures required to use CNG far exceed the capability of everyday Nigeria. Our maintenance culture is not at par to avoid unintended explosions and facilities.

CNG is far safer. Do you realize that the back seat in most cars are sitting directly on the fuel tank? CNG is installed in the car boot
Have you seen the explosion this sheet comes with?

In today's world, you will not long stop progress by scaring people with false stories. Increasingly, tech is enabling information to reach the remotest places. People will learn and they will convert to CNG, Electric cars , scooters or whatever is available that they can
afford that will improve thire circumstances.

You cannot hold the people ransom to Ignorance enabling those that benefit from cabals to exploit them forever.

Ps

Some don't want peaceful change that will benefit the majority, they want violent change that will benefit the few.

What they called affordable is far out of reach of average Nigerians. I wonder what these people think when they are fixing prices of commodities and services as if they are unaware of the earning power of the people.

The government that failed to give living wages to its citizens and increasing everything at will without human face, you are definitely expecting people to be stealing because I don't know where you are expecting the money to come from.

Basic needs has been turned to luxury in Nigeria.

Trying so hard 😫 to deceive people to use this nonsense, after which they will fire 🔥 the price up. For now they r desperately looking for gullible car owners to trap. Infact who is d sole distributor of this CNG nonsense, let's start frm there.

Asides environment I think the government is trying to kill 2 birds with one stone by basically diversifying energy products to prevent us from being dependent on one.

Imagine converting to cng and then it gets saturated and then the price of cng increases too because of demand then both petrol and cng become expensive and we then have nowhere to run to.
CNG is fully produced here. There is abundance of natural gas that is being wasted. No importation issues. No rate of dollar. LPG is imported that's why the price is going up.

There's alot of promises in this cng stuff that makes it look like the messiah has Finally come

But I'm sure in Nigeria not even Maggi star is cheap again

Sooner or later it will join the bound wagon, the price of commodities in Nigeria doesn't respect law of gravity

Someone said it's fully produced here,

Is garri produced from abroad?

Your refineries that refuse to work here what is the cause?

i understand cng is produced here and it's cheaper. but what i'm saying is with mass adoption it will get more expensive and then the government will think of ways to make more from it
