I bought half Mudu of Date fruit in Kaduna for #1,000. The full Mudu is 2k.
Date fruit is a rare fruit that is mostly found in the North. It is also farmed in the far North.

That's not the aim of this thread. Things are very expensive in the North too. But sometimes you will be surprised as how cheap you buy somethings in this present economy in the North. Two years ago, this quantity of Date fruit is far cheaper than this.

I stopped eating it cos it was so sweet. I can't even finish a handful of it.

What exactly is the function of this fruit

I'm addicted to dates. I've been around for 30 something years and February this year was my first time of tasting this, can you imagine that?? Now I can't stop eating it almost every day.
