Livebets, Brazil vs Germany, worldcup - a decade ago. Was watching it live at the time and as soon as Muller scored the first, could see the next goal coming from them and just kept winning on and on till Oscar shut me out.

Started as a joke with a friend we was watching together and he challenged me on the Muller thing. In retrospect, think it was easier then for me cos I won initially and kept winning so I kept betting big with money I already won - so little risk on my side.

Sometimes, it depends if your home is a new build, customized or an older home. Newer builds are more energy efficient in comparison. If that is for one household, then you may want to make some serious adjustments because you may be averaging nearly $600/ month and depending on your household, that may be excessive.

Are your windows energy efficient? If not, please consider changing because it would save you a lot of money. How about light bulbs, are they LED? I have nothing against going solar, especially since you live in Texas, where it stays hot for the most part but consider changing your outside lights to LED if they are not already. Smart Thermostat? There are numerous state programs that can help with switching those and they offer rebates on them.

Infact, ask your energy provider to come complete an energy usage analysis of your home, it is free in most states. This will help you understand power usage and where there are opportunities to improve. I am shocked they have not reached out to you sef! When and how often are you running your washer/ dryer, particularly your dryer, that one can run you street. For example, the rule of thumb in my household is to complete laundry only on a weekend day, especially during summer, except it is an emergency and during down time. There things you can't control for the most part like electronics, device usage etc but making your home energy efficient is the first step.

I average $250/month and for my household, that is efficient. You should look up household comparisons on the website of your energy provider and see what a similar household in your neighborhood averages. Do the same for your water usage.
Thanks a lot for the info.

I'm wondering if these bookies can update faster than someone watching a Nigerian premier league match live.

Like if I'm at the stadium watching and a player scores. I can quickly bet him as the player to score the first goal. I'm not sure whatever transmits result to the bookies will be faster than the human eye especially in our league here.

I don't think you quite understand what I'm saying or maybe I don't get your question.

My thinking is that there has to be a delay of some sort with whatever transmits results of ongoing matches to either the bookies, livescores or flashscores.

Okay. I always wonder how those results are transmitted in a sec to Flashscores and the rest. Football results from all across the world.

Na...almost impossible. Those things are updated in milliseconds by algos using live feeds from sport data companies. - Still remember Sportradar from back in the day, and even the more popular one Opta

They pay millions in USD annually to these companies for subscription. No way in hell that happens

dont know about the Nigerian league but I would expect the same level of risk management

Nope. It's called real-time data. No delay whatsoever

The best mindset to have about betting is to treat it like any other thing we do during leisure that gives pleasure.

Just as we pay to watch football, cinemas, music and comedy shows, e.t.c

The difference is, rather than pay to the promoter of the show or to the owner of the viewing centre, you're paying to the bet company with the added "benefit" that luck may shine on you and you cashout.

The problem is, since we don't watch football or go to comedy shows every day, applying this mindset to betting requires strong discipline.

I agree with this. The land mass and population of the Arab world will overwhelm Israel at some point. The Arabs have 10 people to donate for one Israeli
One day one day they will capitulate because both sides will never forgive or forget, and it just takes Israel to lose guard 1 day or for US to stop being No 1 and the Arabs will overrun them like soldier ants.

It might be in 20yrs or in 100 years. The other thing is that not even 2 state solution can prevent this. Neither side truly wants or believes in a 2 state solution.

I personally don't think those situations are the same as this.

There is a strong emotive, illogical, and multigenerational component that exists in this Arab-Israeli issue that does not apply in the case of Germany and Japan (or at least not to the same level).

Japan was isolationist for centuries until the Meiji restoration, and it is not as if they had a specific archenemy who had "appropriated" their land and shed the blood of their brethren over multiple generations.

German's case in both world wars was the result of a small select group of ambitious and devious men hijacking the state and steering it in a specific direction i.e. expansionism. Lebensraum was not a concept that kept the average German awake at night.

P.S Of course, they ultimately have to give the 2-state solution a try, and it might give a transient reprieve BUT i don't think it would change the final reckoning.

Well, I can't remember if it's the bible or the left behind series of books that says it, as I have read either in years, but I'm pretty sure it is the anti-christ's job to finally solve the middle east.

A Two-State Solution will work.

The Arab world is ready to move on.
Jordan fought Israel during the Arab Wars. Today, it's shooting down Iranian missiles bound for Israel.

PA militia under Fatah and Hamas are clashing right now on the ground in the West Bank while negotiators are in Cairo trying to hammer out a deal to share power. China had been trying to unify the different factions for months now. They're in the middle of a war that has killed tens of thousands of Palestinians and they can't let their blood feud go. During the Intifada, they were assassinating each other.

Give Palestinians their country and they will swiftly redirect their angst elsewhere.
Within themselves. They'll also join in on the eternal ME strife. Switching alliances between their bigger neighbors and deploying veterans of the Resistance to other theaters.
It is very f**lish of Israel to have that angst focused on them when they can direct it elsewhere.

On the Iranian question, Iran uses Israel as a foreign boogie man which serves as the perfect smokescreen to arm Shiite groups around the region. With or without Israel, Hezbollah and Kat'aib Hezbollah will still be receiving shipments from Iran.
Israel is not Iran's endgame. Anyone who has read about the Safavids know why Saudi Arabia has vowed to acquire nukes if Iran declares nuclear breakthrough.

Without this Palestine issue, Hezbollah will ally with Israel and the Christians to purge Sunni Islamists in Lebanon.
In fact, Hamas or whatever comes after it will side with their Sunni cousins in Lebanon against Hezbollah after they get their state.
That is the ME in a nutshell. Strange bedfellows.
PLO that came before Hamas was a thorn in the flesh of Lebanese Christians and Shia.
As deadly as ISIS. As terrible as it's been in the region against all religio-ethnicities. From Shiites to Christians to Druze. They're not avidly anti-Zionist.
If you can put a pacifier on ISIS, why would Hezbollah be different.
Shias in Iraq and Syria have an ancient feud with Sunnis, it goes way back to the Rashidun Caliphate.
This Jewish conflagration is them acquiring battlefield experience for their Sunni neighbors. Because that is their endgame.

So it is shocking to me that Israel is causing itself self-harm when it can solve its problem in an afternoon.
And it's not all of Israel. Leftist Israel gets it. But the Right has the government and security architecture in a chokehold.
And if they had their way, they'll take all of Palestine and Phoenicia.
And in this perfect world they've dreamed up, others will take care of the longevity problem for them.
Domicide and assassinations only go so far.

Iran is Israel's natural ally.
In fact, half the reason the Ayatollahs are so fiercely anti-Israel is because the last Shahanshahs of Iran, the Imperial House of Pahlavi, who the Mullahs deposed, are pro-Israel or at the very least ambivalent about Israel. The Imperial Crown Prince, who is hoping for a return, is Pro-Israel. Israel is giving the Mullahs assists both locally and regionally due to the atrocities in Palestine. That the monarchists and secularists, most of whom are fine with Israel, can't come out of the closet.
Seriously, Azerbaijan is a Shiite Iranian country and they're easily one of Israel's closest ally in the Caucasus.
If the Azeris can ally with Israel against Armenian Christians. You bet Iran would do same against the Sunnis. They did it before during the Iran-Iraq War. Yes, the Ayatollah accepted clandestine Israeli help, when Saddam was a mutual enemy.
The Abraham Accords is the Sunni Monarchs trying to get first dibs on Israeli help in what they perceive as a century of confrontation with the Iranians.

Palestine is the impediment that limits maneuvering whether with the Arabs or Persians and the Israeli Left recognizes this.
