The reconstruction of the 15.53 km UI (Preboye Junction)-Bodija Market-Secretariat-Total Garden-Beere Roundabout Road has commenced. The UI-Bodija Market-Secretariat-Total Garden-Beere Roundabout Road project was approved on 5 December 2023 by the Oyo State Executive Council under Lot 1 of 10 roads awarded for reconstruction to Kopek Construction Ltd.

The UI-Bodija Market-Secretariat-Total Garden-Beere Roundabout Road project, located in the Ibadan North Local Government Area, terminates at Beere Roundabout in the Ibadan South East Local Government Area, where it connects the completed 10.8 km Bus Stop Gate-Oje-Beere-Oja Oba-Molete Under Bridge Road.
Three roads under Lot 1 are complete, three are ongoing (the UI-Bodija Market-Secretariat-Total Garden-Beere Roundabout Road project inclusive), and Kopek Construction Ltd will reconstruct four more roads which are shorter in length before the end of 2024.

Nice road development, but the government should spend money to change the roofs. You can't imagine having all these nice roads and having to shield your eyes, almost forcing yourself to look on the ground as you move around in the city.
