My fuel gauge was a little below half tank, paid 48,000 @ Ngn1070 to top it up last night. Last year before Tpain I dey fill the whole tank for less than 30k.
I noticed in the filling station, people were all with defeated faces and not smiling. Some others were just hissing continuously.
I'm not against subsidy removal, but measures should have been put in place to soften the shocks before removal.
Crazy times 😭

Naira, the root of everything

As long as naira dey increase, things go dey increase, fight the depreciation of naira first.

You see that fuel, Tinubu is a d0g to IMF because of loan he wanted to collect.

We need someone that can manage our resources to finance the government instead of borrowing.

If ghost workers or workers salary are unbearable to pay, government should slash or reduce it

Expenses must not exceed your income if a Nation want peace of mind

We need compassionate leaders not the one that will be dancing to the tune of some stooge

The labour's unions are the enemies of nigeria. Not the old man occupying Asorock. Tinubu is just a drug addict who came to steal , over acquired and destroyed. NLC that was supposed to be the voice and power of the common man is being ineffective. What a shame

Nigerians are the best suffering and Smiling people in the world.

Nigerians are very good in enduring nonsense from government.
The same people that were supposed to vote for LP and chase evil APC that has made Nigerians suffer for eight good years under Buhari , were busy voting for PDP , is it that they prefer another Hausa Fulani Man to enter that seat or that an Igbo man has no say in the affairs of Presidency in Nigeriahuh

Until the hatred against Igbos is banished and flushed out from the wicked minds of so many Nigerians, that is when fresh air can come to Nigeria...

This is just the beginning, if you think these same people will react and fight, no way, they can't , in 2027, they will still vote wrongly to make sure an Igbo man won't be President....lols

I've said it before and I will say it again. Even if Fuel hits N5000/litre or dollar reach N5000/$, I will never give up on this country. Sometimes things have to get worse before getting better due to the implementation of radical but much needed policies. We suffer now so our children can have a better future. Pushing the can down the road just to appease the populace hasn't worked and the buck stops here.

It's painful but fleeing abroad is never the solution. Everyone likes to complain of bad governance this, corruption that, but how many of you have tried to bring about positive changes in your daily lives to curtail corruption? I still see people skipping the lines at the bank after bribing the security guard or some bank worker so they can be seen before others. I still see people bribing airport staff just so they won't search their bags and things like that.

Most of these politicians were once ordinary citizens like you and I and they also decried bad governance and corruption only to continue in the same path when they got elected. This is the reason I don't have any party loyalty nor do I listen to wailing Nigerians because you are all the same like the elected officials. If we want to see this country turn around, we all need to play our part. Stop participating or promoting corruption at your current level in life, then encourage your family members and friends to do the same. Our problems will not magically disappear, it has to start at the grassroot where we all make an effort to change the culture of corruption so that with time, maybe all our collective efforts will yield positive results. Until then, we should not complain because 99% of you will be just as bad if elected today.
What you said is complete trash.

Until those in authority begin to live responsibily
The ordinary common man will go through horrible pain

Those in authority are the problem

They don't live by example
They don't give a damn about the ordinary Man in the street.

They live a bloated, exhobitant lifestyles at the mercy of the people

And you have the effontry to write this trash

What you wrote there is complete wickedness
It's not good at all

Do you know what ordinary Nigerians are going through?

God forbid bad thing

With this statement of yours, it clearly showed that you're confused. You said Tinubu didn't try concerning fuel subsidy and still agreed that fuel subsidy had to go.
Equally, you have been brainwashed to even agree that subsidy has to go when your leaders are getting everything free of charge and still stealing as much as they could. Subsidy has to go even when you are sure that the gain from subsidy removal would be stolen, diverted, looted, mismanaged, etc.
So, what exactly would be your own gain from fuel subsidy removal?

You guys and this your nonsense narrative, if everyone is to do what you are saying, why then do we have leaders?

What then is leadership for?

In the process of trying to defend rubbish, you guys forget the primary purpose of things....

In case you have forgotten, leaders are the ones who are supposed to teach the followers not the other way round...

When you elect the worst among you people what then do you expect them to teach the people? that's why Tinubu is behaving the way he is behaving...

Each time I read comments like yours it gives me more reason why the country should divide into different countries....

Out regional ideologies are not the same, I doubt you are from the south east...

a sensible Nigerian would have known that, since the govt has decided to increase the minimum wage either implemented or not, then we should all expect things to keep increasing... get high minimum wage to buy everything at a costly rate.

Firstly, THIS GOVERNMENT MUST FAVOUR ME.

Okay, back to the matter of Fuel Price increase, Abeg anybody wen dey pray make Naira dey depreciate make he no complain about Price of Fuel ooo cos na Global product and na Global Price he dey work with.

Una say T-Pain dey pay himself Subsidy and Baba don comot am finally, so no Subsidy for am again.

Una dey pray make PBAT fail so una go fit tell other say ntoor we tell una say our Candidate better pass but una forget say if shit hit ceiling na everybody go collect.

Sha, THIS GOVERNMENT MUST FAVOUR ME.
AMEN!
I never curse anybody or politician before but I say may thunder strike you and your PBAT..

Almost 2 year now and life went harder for the average Nigerian compared to when Buhari was there, as e don sure now say Buhari with his incompetence better pass BaT by far. Even if subsidy is removed, it shouldn't be more than N500 per liter under the circumstances of the country but here we are with BAT and his anti-people policies. I neva vote since 2015 but I'm already preparing to offload the charlatan occupying Aso Rock ASAP cos he no sabi lead at all.

Imagine president saying the fuel increase is not his fault and he's toothless to find out why the price isn't stable, shey that one na president? What has he achieved in almost 2 years in office other than suffocating the poor Nigerians?

Imagine a president out of touch with the reality of Nigerians saying Nigerians should be paying same amount of fuel like US and Europe without considering what Nigerians are earning as minimum wage compared to those rich countries he's comparing us with.

Nonsense and BAT.
