There is no doubt before the law that Martins is the rightful Speaker of the House of Assembly. The Appeal court had already made this clear in a previous judgement. That is why they berated the Governor today for disobeying the orders of court. Rivers State has no budget so far as far as the law is concerned and that is very worrisome. Something big will happen in that state soon but it will surprise only those who have been reasoning with emotions. 23 Likes |

The court held that Governor Fubara withdrew his counter-affidavit at the lower court in the matter and as such cannot commence an appeal in a matter he didn’t challenge at the trial stage. He has to start afresh again that is the meaning of the judgement 11 Likes 1 Share |
