Amaewhule defected to APC and then lied that he did not even when the evidence are clear. No intergrity,is this the same person that will be speaker of Rivers state house of assembly.

This is one of the ills of that presidential agreement Fubara signed
That agreement was used to hamstring him and give breathe to the defected lawmakers
Let's see how this goes though since the budget has already been expended by over 80%

The court held that Governor Fubara withdrew his counter-affidavit at the lower court in the matter and as such cannot commence an appeal in a matter he didn’t challenge at the trial stage.

He has to start afresh again that is the meaning of the judgement

That has been ruled on, status of limitation to bring a new suit has ran out.

Unless there is a way to argue that by leaving PDP the lawmakers lost their positions by operation of the law and no need for a court pronouncement.

The problem with that argument is that, the constitution states that only the court have the power to declare a seat vacant.

it means that he can't put something on nothing.

meaning that his only option is to re-present the budget to the court recongized speaker.

and it also means that what every decision the speaker takes after this, is binding on the governor as such is very certain that impeachment will liking commence anytime soon and the police will obey the valied court judgment .

The bitter pills now is that no state court can upturn this judgment unless suprem court but unfortunately the doest have a case to appeal since he has withdraw it from the high court in the past.

The governor is 95% out of office.
