And why would a wife have to take a formal letter from her husband to travel internationally? Most happy and normal marriages don't need a formal letter. A good husband will know when his wife is travelling because she will inform him. Only a bad, abusive or a marriage riddled with lack of trust will require a spouse to hide things from each other.

You married her as an adult, she decided to love you and wasn't forced to love you. You don't own her, she isn't your commodity, you are both to work together for the good of the family.

You are right, I generalize but that’s what’s happening. I agree not all of them but it’s very common there.

Take a look at Japan, they are one of the most disciplined and cultured countries in the world and they enjoy progress. In fact check out every country in the world that preserved their culture, they are doing very well.
