WOMEN don't have the luxury of time men have in waiting. A man can afford to be useless for 50 years and when he is 60 years old, find a beautiful girl to marry and make a family. A woman cannot easily do that.

Why the angry words against people celebrating on Saturdayshuh

People will celebrate tomorrow, today and forever and ever. That is life. Don't be mad they have a reason to celebrate, life is turn by turn and we are not leaving the world alive.

Marriage is not the problem here. As a matter of fact, at times like this, it is better for two people who both have jobs, to buckle down together to survive the hard times than it is for one person with a job to do it alone. undecided

That said, it would be bad for anyone, married or unmarried, to consider having kids at this point. undecided

Fear mongering.
You do not need more than half a plot of land to farm all a family needs for food. I have a section on my own farm where I produce tomatoes, pepper, plantain, oranges, coconut, pawpaw, ugu, water leaf and bitter leaf. My cassava I harvested from another location gave me 300kg of gari. Abakaliki rice I bought when it was still 38,000 a bag...we never finish am. Beans harvest is due in November. Corn we eat and also use some for our birds.

I have palm oil from another land where I have palm trees. Same land also gives me pineapples. I have goats, chickens. The only thing I buy is onions and condiments, many of which I bought in bulk for those with long expiry dates.

The problem is Nigerians do not think and do not make any effort at positive innovation. They just sit and complain and complain and complain. Even as fuel is expensive, how many have thought to save up to buy bicycles and use this as a made of transport just as is done in Tokyo and Utrecht?

Feeding a family is a conscious decision which should be made by EVERY MAN worth his salt.

We are not in trouble. Trouble is in us.

This is not Tinubulation. This is stupidity. Just because Tinubu is an !d!0t shouldn't be a reason to blame everything on him. Was Tinubu already in power when they started shitting out these pikins?

By the way, the black figure in blue pants, is that the grandfather or the wife of the man? If she's the wife, then I bet 2 odds that she's the one who bought that food.
Read your comments again. Does the government want to reduce its population? A family this size can comfortable feed themselves prior 2015.

Yes, the policies of T-Pain are to blame !!

This is coming from the dingdong who insinuated that it is better to hold a job that can barely feed one in Nigeria— all while walking around with qualifications wey no carry value —than to Japa and get a warehouse job that enables you to feed and care for yourself in your host country while having money left over to send back home to those left behind in Nigeria. undecided

The moment the pump price was increased yesterday and people moved on with life instead of protesting, I conducted in my mind that all the protests staged during Jonathan administration were geared towards inordinate ambition by those who sponsored it and not for the betterment of the masses and those who follow them.

Now those people are in power and have set Nigeria backwards by 50 good years. Fayemi was right anyway. It's all politics.
