if u have children before tinubu era nko?
Was Nigeria better before Tinubu? Did people not complain worse, especially in 2015-2016, under Buhari? So, why have many children? If you have two children, would you die?

■ The print and electronic media do not determine my life and how I raise my family or how I go about my family's upkeep. All what I put up above took me 4 years to accomplish and we are happier for it. While people are complaining about high cost of food stuff, I have insulated my family from it.
If you decide to live your life via the media, the fear they will generate will paralyze you and the fear will spread to all around you.

We are not in trouble. Trouble is in us.

This is not Tinubulation. This is stupidity. Just because Tinubu is an !d!0t shouldn't be a reason to blame everything on him. Was Tinubu already in power when they started shitting out these pikins?

By the way, the black figure in blue pants, is that the grandfather or the wife of the man? If she's the wife, then I bet 2 odds that she's the one who bought that food.

On a more serious note, this is a good example of how we keep recycling poverty in Africa as a result of our stupidity. Only a miracle will help any of these kids to break out of this vicious cycle. This photo is getting me very angry.
Some of una leave govt wey una suppose blame come dey blame parents wey born pikin because of common food. Here in Europe, people dey throw way food.sometimes,I will buy chicken and forget that I have it in the fridge.Dont worry, una go soon begin blame person wey dey chop one plate of food, say im suppose chop quarter plate.Ndi Ronu.. angry undecided sad angry

It is DANGEROUS to ride bicycles in many cities in Nigeria. Let's be honest when we offer solutions. In many Nigerian cities, even pedestrians cannot walk comfortably on their paths, na bicycle riders go dey comfortable?

The farming you have done is wonderful. Unfortunately, farmers in Zamfara, Borno, and Benue would beg to disagree. Youths in Enugu cooperated to open a rice farm only for Fulani herdsmen to destroy everything. Sometimes, I wonder why Nigerians sound so heartless considering the number of times they are seen in churches and mosques. During the last months of Jonathan till the early years of Buhari's first tenure, MANY Nigerians invested in farming. There were threads upon threads of Nairalanders who invested up to 10 million in various areas of agri-business. Ten million naira in 2014-2017. What happened? Fulani herdsmen ransacked farms and slaughtered people across Benue, Nasarawa, Plateau, Edo, Ogun, Enugu etc. What did fellow Nigerians do? They kept mum.

For people who claim to be so religious and godly, many Nigerians tend to be so wicked, cruel and hypocritical.
Go back and ask how many of those farmers took up agric insurance, ever bothered to build a fence or invested in K-9 units. How can you have N10 million in 2014-2017 (equivalent to $20,000 at the worst Naira to USD exchange rate at the time) to invest in agriculture, and you cannot have 10% of that amount to invest in protection?

Just like owning a N20m car and you no fit buy tracker put. Yes I agree there was a lot devastation, but I can tell you that I also put up my farming infrastructure in the North where there are also Fulanis (they leased land right behind mine). I know how I handled their matter.

If you are not proactive about things in this life, life will just pass you by and the challenges of living and operating in Nigeria will swallow you.

Fair enough. Thanks for outlining a few protective measures.

Call it bull seeet (apology to Cobhams Asuquo), or whatever you like. I do not have time for naysayers. If you like, come to my facility and let me show you what I did.

I have done my part and my family is the better for it. Wailers and zombies and those in the middle can do what they do best...wail, remain zombified, or do nothing.

Useless society. Keep blaming the president. How long ago was it Jonathan, with the unprecedented campaign of subterfuge. Today he's a distant memory, as Buhari is the fresh villain.

THE PROBLEM OF NIGERIA IS THE NIGERIAN PEOPLE THEMSELVES. Sick values, absolutely DEAF disposition. Everywhere I go, it is me that Nigerians are attacking and advising to change my ways to become like them!

Nigeria is a joke! No sympathy. My only regret is that I'm here suffering with them

Fear mongering.
You do not need more than half a plot of land to farm all a family needs for food. I have a section on my own farm where I produce tomatoes, pepper, plantain, oranges, coconut, pawpaw, ugu, water leaf and bitter leaf. My cassava I harvested from another location gave me 300kg of gari. Abakaliki rice I bought when it was still 38,000 a bag...we never finish am. Beans harvest is due in November. Corn we eat and also use some for our birds.

I have palm oil from another land where I have palm trees. Same land also gives me pineapples. I have goats, chickens. The only thing I buy is onions and condiments, many of which I bought in bulk for those with long expiry dates.

The problem is Nigerians do not think and do not make any effort at positive innovation. They just sit and complain and complain and complain Even as fuel is expensive, how many have thought to save up to buy bicycles and use this as a made of transport just as is done in Tokyo and Utrecht?

Feeding a family is a conscious decision which should be made by EVERY MAN worth his salt.

People should go into farming. Nigeria has a vast fertile ground. Abi na government go come put food for your table....
The OP and his Crew on Nairaland are so discengeneous that they want govt to do everything for them!
Hear them 'under this Govt '- which govt?
- Did Not All Political Parties said ' they will remove the 'Oil Subsidies '- Yes Or No?
So,what has this government done in removing the Oil Subsidies that is abnormal?
Ok,they ought have put all the other Refineries into Functions,- Yes but at what Costs- , afterall even the one being put for Repairs - how far?
1.I would rather blame this govt for playing Politics with something like Power- as Power Minister is not performing up to Expectations,as NIGERIANS should know that Without Power- there is no Industrialization-Egypt has over 55,000 Megawatts, while Nigeria is having between 4000-5000 Megawatts, since 1960.What is wrong with Our Leaders?
2.When your Emiefiele - was destroying Nigeria Economy - where were you then? - he can't Accounts for -NTrillions of Money, including Homongous NBILLIONS,both in FOREX and Naira, the Anchor Borrowers Money in NBILLIONS and he alone decided to push both the LP and PDP Sympathersers for Support- that Naira Design is a Must, while he was carrying a President -Box( this has never happened anywhere in the World for ( A CBN Governor) and you People- the TRIBESMEN -were clapping for him- where do you think he will get the Money,to become a President - from the Moon, abi?
Many are foolish but some lack Wisdom and you need Wisdom to correct the abnormalities of the Foolish ones,in this World!
• The Consequences of the Nation that loves Tribalism, Ethnicity and Religion more than Patriotism,is what we are experiencing in Nigeria.
SOLUTIONS:
1)•We need to double our efforts to be more Productive than Before and it should Start with the Govt- by granting of Small Low Interest Rate Loans to Individuals,Small and Medium Scale Businesses/ Industries - as done in India and China - the Interest Rate as low as 3%,to restore back Nigeria Industrial Development Revolution.
2)• The Present Govt should Stop deceiving Nigerians that Bank Interest- Rates of 30 % or 33% is the Solutions or that Interest Rate can't be Single Digit e.g 3- 5 % to lift up the People from Poverty, for how do the EU or USA- gives their People free Interest Rate on some Special Sector?- for by this,Many Nigerians, will have a change of Mindset to Move into Businesses!
3)•We MUST / Govt must as a matter of Urgency embark on Export Oriented Productions - to earn FOREX - to reduce Strain on the Naira.
4)• Govt at ALL LEVEL ( Fed, States,as Local) Must as a matter of Urgency - embark on Agricultural- full time Agriculture Development - for food to All Nigerians and Unfortunately, 5)•Security threats must be wiped out of Many States in Nigeria and our Borders must be Secured.e.g what is the Foodstuffs Outputs of the Ministry of Agriculture - both in Federal and States? Check them- is Zero Returns ,yet the Annual Budgets - are being Spent without Accountabilities due to Corruption!
6)•Let every Nigerian be Sincere with himself/ herself - What is the States Productions Capacity as at Today? Zero! Are they Not Sharing Money every 4- Months( quarterly,)?
•We are the real enemies of Ourselves.e.g. where are the Crude Oil Humongous Money,Since Independence?

Sometimes we bite more than we can chew. I was in a customer's place Sometimes ago and I saw his first born a seniour secondary school student helping them in the shop..when I asked why he wasn't in school..the father said it was school fees.

But his wife is pregnant again ...the forth child...but the first one is already out of school 'cos of fees. ..was just thinking about it within me if the man is making any sense.

We are at the receiving end of our decisions.
