Understood, but me, I came from Airtel. We even have Airtel fibre laid in our Estate but forward ever. It's easier if u got some $$$ though. Easier said

Actually, not many people earn in $$$...and people actually wanted an affordable unlimited internet, but T-Pain no dey gree with the Naira devaluation, etc. That's why some are giving up. I mentioned earlier why I didn't go for Starlink, after calculating the overall cost and maintenance. Now, price increase in naira came; the straw that broke the camel's back for some.

Na only Airtel has that Plan but MTN has something better on Fiber Optics but not yet available in my Area but it's getting closer

If I had MTN fiber in my Estate, I would abandon my Starlink. With MTN fiber, you get a guaranteed 150Mbps at 60k. These days, Starlink is so slow and sluggish during the day time.

I just checked their site and found out that they give differing value at same cost of plans for Lagos and Abuja. Given that I live in Abuja, I won't be using their services.

For those who live in Lagos, these two plans make sense especially with the increase of Starlink plans. The challenge with fiber connectivity is the frequent outages due to fiber cable cuts.

Am I the only one suffering these crazy outages and stats?
The thing is, it doesn't happen after midnight, just during the day time. Ping success is usually around 99% and 98% after midnight, but becomes terrible during the daytime. As a result, Starlink performance is now shitty during the daytime here at my location in Abuja.

These aren't caused by obstructions as you can see that my obstruction map is quite clear.

Guys, have you recently switched to Starlink Residential in the Lagos area? How did you do it?

Did you sign up from the official site? If so, how long did you have to wait?

Did you use an address just outside the restricted area?

Or: are you on the roaming plan of ₦167,000/month?
