You guys had a conversation here about fake drinks and I decided I wasn't going to take any drink ever again. That discussion was in May 2023 It's been more than one year and I have not tasted any drink that is not water.

Even if I win a million naira with 1k, my next bet is in another week or two weeks as planned.

They should carry firearms to defend themselves, majority of the road crimes happen on highways, how will they defend themselves if they come in contact with bandits or kidnappers

Which yeye professional? They are as corrupt as the rest of the law enforcement agencies that stop vehicles on the road . All they are interested in is collecting money from vehicles carrying overload and claiming private vehicle tyres are expired .

Me I no rate them at all.

Giving them guns will only lead to more deaths in the long run. They will also be doing accidental discharge like other law enforcement agents bearing arms

Aside companies and few private individuals, majority of Nigerians don't buy new vehicles simple because they can't afford it. Only people that have ajeseku will cough out 950k to convert vehicle to CNG when u are not even sure if the vehicle will develop complications after conversion.

Yes. Most people go for second hand cars because its cheaper when you compare it to new ones made in Nigeria.

Person dey complain about high cost of fuel, you say make he go convert to CNG. He reach there them say make he bring 1.2m. Na to dey laugh dey go house back.

That’s why they are called Federal Road safety Corps ; they are to ensure safety on federal roads . Finish !

Well you have a point but i just don't generally trust Nigerians with guns.

Their job is to check papers and ensure the safety of road users right? I dont think they should bear arm tbh.

Normally everybody knows that a road safety job is check ur vehicle papers & drivers license, ensure u aren't overspeeding, confirm ur vehicle is safe to be on the road and ensure u are not posing danger to other road users while driving on federal road.

Nobody has any intentions of taking them out because they are not carrying any weapon to effect arrest.

The moment u give them guns, the criminals who have guns in their vehicle will be apprehensive and will shoot them on sight.

If u check the history of road safety officers who have died in the line of duty, its mostly due to the officers trying to do more than what their duty is . For example some of them will hang on the body of a moving vehicle claiming they want to arrest him by force. That's a fooolish and careless thing to do.

Let them just do their jobs and stop worrying about bearing arms that will put them in danger.

I'm just scared for the life of motorists.

They might want to pull the trigger at anyone who stands on their rights.

It'll be much better if they attach some Police men to the FRSC officials on our Highways

Seeing how average Joe's are ramping up fear regarding the CNG initiative, you'd think that by now FG would have recruited professionals in the field to redirect and lead the conversation on the CNG initiative (that's assuming it's indeed what they're marketing it to be).

Maybe even have some cars on the presidential fleet converted to run on CNG, but they've allowed 1K per post influencers lead the conversation, and it's predictably getting pushback from a public that has every right to be suspect.

I'm not sure what people expected from a candidate that licked mic sha, it was funny to see during campaign season, and sad that we're being lead through this incredibly tough period by a packaged crook that's past his best physically and cognitively.
