Finding a job isn't as easy as it seems, trust me. I don't know his qualifications or age group, but I doubt he'll find the level of income and freedom he's looking for in a typical 9-to-5 job.

I recommend he either find a way to succeed in the e-hailing business he is used to or explore other ventures. Transitioning from running a business to job hunting can be challenging.
When people say get a job, I wonder how much these jobs will pay. Will it pay 500 net?
Do you have the requisite qualifications and EXPERIENCE to negotiate 500 net?

Let's say you land the job. As things are right now, can that person run a car on the road for a month? Petrol has already taken more than 100k at 1k per liter.
While he may not do maintenance as often as we do, he will still do some.
Already he is left with less than 400. Living expenses are universal.
His freedom is more limited than mine. There's no guarantee that his workplace is not toxic.

The grass may appear greener on the other side until you cross over and maybe find out it's actually artificial grass. To everything in life there are pros and cons, let each man evaluate and decide what works or doesn't. It's simple enough in my opinion.

Much respect o

Then boycott the app and use bolt or uber......simple!

I wish all drivers can leave that app......walai, their brain go reset.

Got a trip from that yaba train station yesterday morning to lekki phase 1. Bolt showed 11k. They gave rider bonus of 1600. I checked on indrive and saw 6600.....which will still be reduced!

Nonsense app! They already told you guys they are fighting "injustice"

My last trip on bolt yesterday, 20 mins from Anthony village to kilo 7800, 800 bonus. The guy sef shock. It was 3200 on indrive
Bros I insulted them today on customer service.

Ok so I left d house today early. Loaded 2k on indrive. Meanwhile ave noticed weather u hit I'm here or not once y accept u get debited. Also weather u cancel or driver does u get debited but will be refunded in 3 days if rider no show.

So First trip got to location rider no show. 14k trip to ajah I waited 20 mins and cancel was debited. Consumated few trips on rider driver app(a darling app) then got indrive for 8k got there and driver cancel was debited. So 2k going nothing made.

Omo I message support and insulted them. Infact I swore for them told them to they are a useless app that will run down soon grin grin.

I thought they will block me sef

Furthermore ave resolved to sort out my bolt and Uber accounts. Have car documents n driver's license

To hell with indrive

Total you will get on this trip is 4500. Who told you can’t pick 6500 on indrive? And get like 5800. I just feel drivers should learn to use bolt app and understand when a trip is worth it.
It's a different thing when a Rider puts a high price just to get a Driver fast fast, or when the App adjusts to high surge on Bolt and Uber.
That's d only time u get reasonable prices on Indrive.
Asides that, on a normal levels Indrive prices are crap.

Hello Good morning fellow rider, I am bolt driver my account was disabled for 1 year for low score 55%, please how do I go about it, I am benin city, in Benini you can rarely see the staff except the security men they said their staff cannot activate the account, should I relocate to lagos at their office to solve it. Somebody said he can do training certificate for me only if I work in lagos, or should delete my account and creat another one, please I need your input please
Send a message to support inside the App. Also send a mail to Bolt.
Explain how your Driver score dropped to that level, tell them u mostly get trips while still on a trip and it's the riders that cancel because they can't wait.
Secondly, u cancel trips that are going to unsafe areas, reason why u cancel a lot of trips for your safety.
Thirdly, u cancel trips to areas with terribly bad roads, and because u are concerned about the health and maintenance of your car.
Promise to try and improve on the Driver Score if the ban is lifted.

Am sure they will unblock u after a week.

They are all shitty, but I’ll admit you can make more money on Bolt with more drive time. Yesterday morning I saw trip to
ikeja on Bolt for 2900 from Berger and I’m like omo x 3. End up getting to Alausa for 3700 from same Berger on Indrive.

I understand your confer dispense about this argument.. to me I still feel bolt drive should be side hustle.. and my major uneasiness about taken bolt more serious is when your car call for maintenance. Trust me as it speaks now. Let me use u as an exemplification, if peradventure ur gear box had issue currently due to deterioration. Can you beat ur chest that, you can sort the bill instantly for a new one?? . I know a bolt driver currently seeking for money to fixed his gear box and he had been driving for bolt for more than 2 years.. if bolt is that profitable why cant he sort it out from his profit all this years? To me bolt driving is just for survival.. no body get rich driving for bolt!!!

Indrive will take it but not sure bolt will take it since the AC isn't working...

But why can't drivers leave the app. While it may not be possible every single time, I believe strongly in things that align with my principles and values and if something doesn't sit well with me I'll leave it. It's why I have been on Uber exclusively for nearly two years now and I have no regrets.
No matter how much people may be making on the other apps, as long as Uber gives me peace of mind, I de ok.

Chief,

I'm not a Bolt driver, so I can't speak for the majority, but I do work a 9-to-5, so I can tell you firsthand that it comes with it's own challenges and issues(topic for another time).

I’m fortunate to be among the few earning a seven-figure salary, yet I often find myself envying people who own a business and make less.

My point is that no path is easy. If you have the privilege of running a business that's bringing in money and giving you the time to pursue other things, stick with it. If you're not seeing the desired results, identify what's going wrong and see if you can change the narrative. If it's beyond your control, then seek out alternatives that could bring in more income.

Transitioning from running a business to job hunting is quite challenging. Personally, I would prioritize seeking business opportunities over searching for a traditional job.

That's just my humble opinion.

You're right about the long pickups, that shit is soooooo annoying. Everytime I take the survey that's one of my complaints.
But trips usually come in regularly for me and I can afford to pick and choose. Same for the trip radar requests. A lot of times I decline trip radar requests so that regular Uber x requests can enter.
I've also been asking them to cancel that trip radar thing, na nonsense however I learned recently that they've had it in other countries before introducing it here recently.
I like Uber for the peace. The riders are also more well mannered than bolt
