Ibime:That looks like a depressed fracture. That is the weakest part of the adult skull. Clarke was a few punches away from possibly losing his life. The guy was still blocking an imaginary punch seconds after he was knocked down. |

Goodbye to the entertainment/nightlife industry in Ukraine. The recruitment soldiers are now kidnapping boys who went to go see their favorite artist perform. One-way ticket to the war front But they told us that Ukraine is winning, That Russia has lost over 600k soldiers in Ukraine. Reality go humble you ![]()

Àgbàdo pastor Don tire to stand on his mandate. Baba say church members can't afford to pay tithes and offerings again. He also threatened Emilokan that they are the ones who prayed before God intervened during Abacha time ; he said they can still raise their voice to pray about Tinubu if he doesn't find solution to the hardship in the land. |

Balogunodua: seankafor:https://x.com/hitee_/status/1845068794127057072?s=46 It has been two years since the completion of Ekiti cargo and international airport which was hurriedly commissioned by Kayode Fayemi before leaving office as governor. No record of any commercial flight to that airport till date. NB: The airport was constructed at a total cost of N20 billion. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 11:42am On Oct 13, 2024 |
izzou:😂 But Nigerian leaders wicked Sha. Fayemi with all his education and exposure decided to waste N20billion of a poor state's fund on a non-economically viable project like airport. I think because they know the citizens will always defend them, they can't help but stay wicked. |

BlueRayDick:He didn’t waste it. He just used the project to siphon his inheritance. ![]() What is more funnier is thinking you need an Agro Cargo airport to boost agriculture in a state. You never deploy more measures of mechanised farming. You never provide security for farm lands. You never encourage investors to jump into agriculture finish. But na Agro cargo go boost am ![]() Do they even know how expensive air freight is? Ogbono that you bought for 5k, you go use 50k take send am by air. |

izzou:It's just unfortunate the way things are in this country. When the governor was proposing the idea of constructing such white elephant project, ideally it is the job of the state house of assembly to kick against the idea. They are the representatives of the people of the state who should point it out to the governor that it is a needless white elephant project. The HOA should've impressed it on him that there are more reasonable ways of boosting agriculture that will not involve spending N20 billion of state state funds with no benefits added to the state. Unfortunately the HOA are a joke in this country, they just sign off on anything provided the governor takes care of their pockets. |

I come in peace. I want to get something straight. How many hours of electricity does a provider supply an area designated as "Band A"? If it is at least 20 hours per day, how come people complain about the prices since it is almost constant? And protest if their area is about to be designated Band A? Two, how come industries still have to face diesel issues when Band A areas are available across every state (please correct me if I am wrong)? Or is Band A only meant for residential areas? Thank you. |

Gerrard59:My understanding is that tiering has been around for the past four or five years They have already been deploying it in estates in lagos. And for some factories. But it was opt in. You go, meet with them, agree on the charge and are guaranteed 20 hours or more per day. I think because of revenue shortfalls and government dropping electricity subsidies, they are now pushing out the tiering haphazardly and without customer engagement. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 1:51pm On Oct 13, 2024 |
GloriousGbola:The issue is the few people I know who are on Band A claim they don't even get the so called 20 hours daily electricity supply. I have an acquaintance who said they were recently upgraded to Band A (as per the units charged), but they don't get up to 20 hours electricity not before they were upgraded and not even after. So it's more like the distribution company just used the whole Band A upgrade to charge them higher while not getting any improvement in their electricity supply |

BlueRayDick:But shebi Band A people use Prepaid metering? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 2:04pm On Oct 13, 2024 |
izzou:Yes, but the rate they charge them is N225 per one kilowatt of energy they use while Band B are charged about N64.07 per kilowatt. So whatever amount they load on prepaid will get exhausted quicker even if they have electricity supply for the same number of hours as as people on other bands |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Itsrm(m): 2:13pm On Oct 13, 2024 |
Gerrard59:I am not sure using prepaid meters is cost effective for industries especially those who use heavy equipment that draw a lot of power. They will rather negotiate like Glorious.Gbola has said, use CNG or just run diesel 24/7 |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Karleb(m): 3:02pm On Oct 13, 2024 |
Gerrard59:We are band A and the total time we don't have light in a week is not upto 6 hrs unless there's a problem with the electricity which we know it's not from the provider but rather due to issues like pole falling or something else. It used to 15 units per thousand then it was at 11 units /1k until few months ago when it became 4 units. We complain because it costs like 3 times as much now. I don't think band A exists outside Ikeja disco. I don't know for sure but I don't think so. Not all industries are situated in band A areas, so they'd still need to burn diesel. |
