More than 20 occupation soldiers were killed and wounded in ambushes and confrontations in Ramyah at dawn today, and the occupation army was unable for hours to withdraw its dead after the ambush in Ramyah on the border with Palestine.

So it's safe to assume that Israeli ground troops are not really that special, their air force though is good. I don't expect the ground soldiers to be dying like this given that they took it upon themselves to invade Southern Lebanon in the first place.

they are fighting people that have been preparing for isreal soldiers arrival for the past 18 years,if someone want to come and attack you in your house won't you plant explosive device on all the road leading to your house?won't you know the perfect place to hide while your missiles and machine guns waiting to roast any soldiers that escape your explosive device? Wont you know where to hide camera to be monitoring your enemy movements?Hezbollah are well prepared for this fight and I don't see isreal soldiers winning land war against them .

He is even talking about their air force being good, when their opponents do not have any air defense.

Israel has always avoided wars of attrition.
Their primary objective in all conflicts is to go big, win early.
The pager attacks and the assassinations was them going big, the deployment of 4 divisions was to mop up a destabilized Hezbollah.

One would have thought that the IDF will have measures in place to counter any of such things. They really f****d up. You don't go to a man's house hitting your chest and promising to raze his city down.
