Go ahead, increase it to 20%, Sooner or later your time as reps and senators will end and you will find yourselves stammering to mention prices of items you want to buy when millions stop flowing in.

When next Nigerians are going to the polls, they might think about leaving their tribal and religious bigotry at home. Tinubu needs to squeeze this new orientation into many Nigerians. grin

Long long over due.

Just that many of these policies are happening at the same time which could affect the masses.

Our government has spoilt us right from independence. Now it’s tough to take the baby feeder away from our mouth, even though we have grown to be adults.

5% VAT can’t cut anything or oil anything in the wheel of development.

Most of those developed nations we envy are on between 15% to 25% VAT.

Lowering CIT further is a good development. It will companies to retain more for either distribution to their shareholders or for expansion. It could also attract foreign investors.

What is left for we citizens is to hold our leaders and all civil servants accountable. We need to make sure we get value for all these deductions.

It’s a pity that when these high taxes and allocations are shared among states, most of our state governors will l00t them.

Our civil servants too will mas.sacre what’s left and carry out mediocre projects.

It may only improve a bit, in the long run, but Nigeria can NEVER get to the state countries like common Portugal, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic etc are again.

Before the last trumpet sounds, if we are able to develop to the level of current Brazil or Lithuania, we should thank our God.

The only solution is for ALL of us to turn a new leave and flee from being corrupt which can NEVER happen.
