Looking back, I think the national Assembly made the right decision by not endorsing ECOWAS military intervention in Republic of Niger🇳🇪. If the EU/NATO/US/France were so much interested in restoring democratic and constitutional order, they should do it by themselves, use their troops.

One of the reasons why Russia is in Niger is to effectively block the EU from accessing cheap West African gas. There was a deal about the construction of gas pipeline from Nigeria to Niger to Algeria. Project don reach dead end.

Niger and Iran also have a good relationship. It's no longer a secret that Niger is supplying Iran with uranium, very important material for Iran nuclear project.
When you also add the treatment of Shiite islamic members by government forces then you don't need a prophet to tell you that Iran will back Niger.

The most sophisticated western weapons were sent to defend Odessa, Lviv and other western regions, together with NATO personnels to operate and maintain them.

I won't be surprised if this THAAD system is already in Ukraine.
