They are migrating core banking platform, but not to the cheap (free) one used by these neo banks

Because have learnt that as a Nigerian you should always subscribe to multiple services
Have like five banks accounts and spread your money all over them incase they want to fuckkk up

Exactly what I did....I have zenith account, wema account, stanbic account, UbA, first bank
If any one decides to mumu itself then I switch..those are pics of my 6 bank cards..I pick any one way their bank get network...

Same thing I did with telecoms I have airtel, glo mtn and Etisalat

Same thing I do with me ladies...I have grace, I have victory I have blessing
If you add all the money in the said banks together e no pass 200k

Carrying out maintenance work (whether migrating, upgrading or resolving) on tech infrastructure is standard best practice. It is done all over the world at scheduled intervals.

You don't have a case. You could argue that not many people would be privy to the development since they might not be accustomed to checking their mails or following GT on social media. Even still, this point is moot. Should maintenance work not be carried out because of the ignorance of its customers? Do you know how much damage a single breach in GT customers' data can cause to many millions?

Even tech products like power supply that are in not related to banking and finance still need regular update and maintenance - balenta ma.

With the advent of the internet a little over 40 years ago, do you know how much hackers have stolen from big corporations just from a loophole in the corporations' infrastructure and kept quiet about it? Do you think this is a trite or a joking matter that can be shoved aside.

Let me use our network providers. Back when we were still growing up, do you know how much our network providers have lost from customers as a result of "cheats" and hacks released by one person? Do you honestly know what you are saying?

Which truth. Why would someone rely on GTBank's alternative payment channel after getting the advisory. There is high possibility of the migration developing teething problems. It is not uncommon with software migration.

You guys just like bad news.
The banking system is very robust, migrating from one core banking application to another is not child play. They have an existing system that their network is use to, introducing a new system to the network will definitely not be smooth, it will take time for them to figure out all errors and correct
