Confirmation that Nigeria's withdrawal made the right impact. Excellent decision by Nigeria instead of rubber-stamping stupidity. |

Wereys quickly put up statement after Nigeria's decision. Something they should have done before things degenerated. Nigeria has numerous players in top leagues including a Ballon D'Or nominee/Europa Champion, Bundesliga champion, the current CAF African Player of the Year/Italian Champion etc. Some of these players are key to their teams and any news like this one won't be some local news in a port town somewhere in Libya or Nigeria. |

EnemyofGod3:Well, an eye for an eye but forgiveness is the best as Muslims. Libya, Make una learn to forgive but we Nigerians should learn to honour our visitors.... |

EnemyofGod3:All i want to see is the boys coming back home safely. Forget about these arab countries. Wickedness runs in their veins. Why lock our boys up in the airport, why make them sleep on the airport metallic seats? Why traumatize them ahead of a continental tournament qualification match? Why provide a rickety bus for a full contingent of a visiting national team? You denied the. comfort for closed to 24hrs with less than 24hrs to the crucial match and you want them to still play? Troost and his players made the best decision not to play the match. Safety is paramount. Next time before leaving to such a country, the government of that nation must provide us a written security guarantee for visiting teams. This same treatment was meted out to the Rwanda contingent by same Libyan authorities. It’s completely unacceptable. You took our boys to an abandoned airport in the middle of the desert in a war torn country full of militants and you expect them to feel safe? When the Libyans visited and were diverted to Portharcourt airport, it was an international airport not an abandoned one. You locked up our boys in a lonely airport not used by anyone but law but bandits and instructed all hotels not to accept any Nigerian members (crew or soccer team members)? It’s unacceptable. Let’s welcome our boys back home. |

EnemyofGod3:AHAB!! They planned all these from the beginning, they knew Nigerians won't take shit without making a hell lot a noise bout it. So they kept those lie lie pictures from PH to use as counter accusation. People that are known for years for these kinds of antics against clubs and national teams |
